Easy, Gorgeous Color Refresh with Minimal Effort
I tried the Keracolor Color + Clenditioner in Merlot because I knew I’d need something to maintain my hair color between salon visits. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how well this works—it leaves my color vibrant and refreshed without the hassle of a full dye.A few tips: some reviews mention it can get messy, and that’s true—it’s very pigmented, so handle it like you would a traditional box dye. I always use gloves, a brush applicator, and am very careful while rinsing to avoid stains. That small caution is worth it for the results. What I love:-Smells great and isn’t overpowering-Makes my hair soft and smooth-Deposits color evenly with minimal effort-Keeps my hair color looking fresh between salon visits (saving so much money)Overall, this product is perfect for anyone looking for a semi-permanent color boost at home. It’s easy to use, effective, and the results make it worth a little extra care during application. I’d definitely repurchase.

Would absolutely recommend!!!!
Used this with the red one. This is a game changer for keeping my hair color fresh! It deposits color while conditioning, leaving my hair soft, smooth, and refreshed. It’s easy to use and helps extend the time between salon visits without making my hair feel dry or damaged. Definitely a favorite for maintaining vibrant color.

Gentle on curls
I have naturally curly hair and wanted product that would add pigment without damage or a big mess. I had previously tried Manic Panic and it looked like a crime scene when I was done. My hair felt dry and I had several red stains on my walls, door, and shower curtain.I loved the color but never wanted to do that process again. I tried this out in Merlot and ended up with a beautiful deep rosy gold (my hair was previously lightened to a warm gold) after a few treatments. The color doesn't penetrate my new growth which doesn't bother me because my natural hair blends well into it.My hair has stayed soft with no damage to my curl pattern. If you don't want your hands to turn whatever color you'll be using or your manicure to change colors, use gloves. Thankfully for me the merlot color washed off with a couple rounds of soap and didn't leave any noticeable change to my skin. I've just finished my first bottle and got about 8 treatments of out it. I have thick porous curly hair so I had to use a out 5 pumps on each side to get good coverage. If your hair is thinner you'll probably get more uses. There will be color running down the drain when you wash but it's really not that much, unlike Manic Panic where it was bright red rinsing out of my hair for weeks. It only lost a star because the pigment isnt strong. It reminds me of what your hair looks like after a few washes after you color it something bold. It took a few treatments to achieve a good color and the remaining treatments were for maintenance.Still very impressive. Will probably order again.

Works well for what I need!
Love this Clenditioner! I was trying to find a way to spruce up on my color without damaging my hair or having to full out dye it frequently - and I think i found the secret! One thing I appreciated is that it’s very easy to apply and doesn’t make a big mess in the shower like some color products can. It rinses clean and I haven’t noticed staining on my hands or shower surfaces. The color is subtle but still rich, which I actually prefer because it looks more natural rather than overly intense. It also works well as a conditioner on its own — my hair feels smooth and manageable after using it, not dry or coated. For anyone trying to maintain or slightly enhance their existing hair color, this is a really convenient option. One bottle can last awhile, unlike actual dye which are one-time use.Overall I’m very happy with it and will definitely keep using it.

Great color, works good!
Helps to prolong color between dyeing, and such a good color! I always double cleanse so I wash my hair with other shampoo first, then use this, then leave in products. I have to clean my tub more often by using this, but the color payoff is worth it.

SUBTLE color deposit, nothing to write home about
Based off of the reviews for this conditioner I was expecting a bit more dramatic results than I got. I had started dying my light brown hair a reddish-brown (John Freida Precision Foam - great stuff!) but the red tones had started to fade after a couple of weeks - not surprising. I was expecting a dramatic revival with this Keracolor conditioner based on the other reviews, but I feel like the red additions are barely noticeable from far away after using this in Merlot. Yes, it's definitely deposited some color, but nothing to write home about. And I basically had to treat this as hair dye - I'd hardly call it a "conditioner." I applied it to dry hair (for more "dramatic" results, per the bottle's instructions), used gloves (this WILL STAIN if you don't wear gloves!), and left it on my hair for 20 minutes... the same as I would hair dye. It's no more convenient than dye, and not even as conditioning (the conditioner that comes with my box dye does a nicer job leaving my hair soft) - so I'm just not quite understanding the appeal of this instead of dye. Not really complaining, I just thought it would have been a bit easier since this was marketed as a "conditioner" and not hair dye.But it's basically "just" dye (and weak dye at that - at least the color I chose).I'll probably use up the rest of the bottle anyway, but I'll be going back to my regular box dye to maintain my color instead.

Merlot Hair Color
***Please note that I don’t get paid for my review, I do it for customers who aren’t sure about buying a product.***Pros: Easy to use, excellent color intensity, excellent conditioning.Cons: the pump on my bottle doesn’t seem to work, but that is a minor negative for me. Also, no gloves are provided, but I have plenty of gloves, so not a problem for me.I usually use L’Oreal Féria to color my hair, and thought this might be a good product for in-between touchups. Using a plastic bowl and utensils, I mixed a couple of teaspoons of Merlot Clenditioner with a couple of teaspoons of Nexxus Humectress conditioner (to which I had already added the L’Oreal Féria conditioner) and applied to my dry hair wherever a touch up was needed. The thicker conditioner made it easier to apply without drippiness. I left the product on my hair for 30 minutes, and although the bottle said “Not recommended for gray hair” it did a good job of covering the grays. Although the product is a bit pricey upfront at $22, the fact that it only took a couple teaspoons to touch up my nearly waist length hair, makes it a bargain. To be sure, I prefer the intensity and highlights of the Féria product better, but the Merlot Clenditioner works very well in-between Féria dye jobs, didn’t cause any damage , and used with high quality conditioners, left my hair soft and shiny. I also use Infusium spray conditioner after washing as a detangler, so please note that my appraisal of this Merlot Clenditioner is based on how it works with these other products.I will definitely buy more Merlot Clenditioner in the future!!!

Great coverage of my crown's Salt & Pepper Hair
Very easy to use smells nice. Love the color and coverage.. So I bought this to cover my grays. I have my crown totally gray well more salt and pepper as I had grew it out pretty much.. I will be turning 64 and wanted a youthful change. I had did the under carriage as I call it black for a couple of years now but the last time I did it with permanent color it was way too dark. So I decided to go with a semipermanent color.. I reserached and found this 3 in one. It did very well on the Grays and it really gave the the black hair a little more depth and slight red hue. Like I said was pretty black so I am really impressed and please. This is not my first time doing doing a bold color used a temporary color cream amatheist purple which I loved but it bleed on every thing sheets, pillow, shirts I had to put a pillow case on the back of my coah and recliner. But as I daid for my birthday inOct I thought I've been wanting to try this color and debated on whether putting it on my gray hair mind you I like my grays but also just time for a change and I'm hoping that it doesn't rub off on things like the temperary color did last time I stained my hair a purple color I loved it but... Anyways we will see how this goes but so far I'm loving it it was easy to use just make sure you wear your gloves put Vaseline on your face and ears hair line area.I left mine on for an hour because I have a lot of gray in my crown and my hair is very thick. Oh one thing is that I could not get the pump to open/the pumper to pop up so I just unscrewed it and put a bunch of it on my glved hands and just really worked it into my hair pretty well of course I did not use a whole bottle but I'm very pleased with the product so far and it looks great so I did a little bit in the Sun for you and then just inside picture oh & that picture is with my gray pretty much grown out before I put the black on it..

Definitely helps boost my colour!
My hair is dyed with Wella Koleston 55/65. I love the colour but with chlorine exposure from weekly swimming with my little one it was already fading after around 4 weeks. I started using a combination of this conditioner and the De Lorenzo ruby red shampoo and together they have completely brough my colour back to life. It is also super hydrating and left my hair feeling silky soft as well as removing a lot of knots before even having to brush it.
