Transitioning with Mocha Latte
I love this Mocha Latte hair color! Great for gently transitioning into a darker color. My natural color is a dark neutral blonde/light brown, now with a few silvery grays popping in. I had lighter blonde hair as a child. Throughout my adult years I've highlighted, lightened/darkened my hair in different shades. Now I'm growing it back out longer, and want it to look as healthy as it can be. This product is fantastic. I've used it previously in various colors, but this shade is my favorite, in Mocha Latte. Locally the product line sells out fast, or seems hard to find, but on Amazon it is usually consistently in stock. The conditioning is good. It definitely makes my hair feel healthier and looks shiny. To use the product, I wear disposable gloves, apply generously to dry, low product build-up hair, and gently work in throughout from root to tip. It is a creamy, non-drip formula. I have thick hair, so 1/2 a bottle achieved this 1 wash transition treatment. I leave on for about 20 minutes. Then work the product through again, with gloved fingers, just to make sure I'm getting good coverage. After waiting another 5 minutes I rinse throughly with lukewarm water. No need to shampoo. I lightly use some of my favorite cinnamon hair conditioner afterwards, just for my favorite scent. I leave that on for 2-3 minutes, and rinse out lukewarm, then cool rinse to seal the hair. Afterwards I spray on a hydrating hair protection, towel dry for about 20 minutes, then finish out with a medium heated hair dryer and round brush. Voilà! Fall hair on!!! Thanks for a great product, I'm very happy with the results!!!

Silver-blonde maintenance + BRUNETTE UPDATE
I have used the purple/platinum before and loved that, but the pictures are after two washes with the SILVER.I didn’t really see any reviews for this color with photos so I wanted to post some to help out any prospective buyers. When I was platinum blonde, the purple/platinum keracolor was my favorite hair product for maintenance — it didn’t leave any purple hues but was still effective. However, I found that it takes a LOT of toning to banish extremely stubborn yellow from my hair, so I decided to go in a more silvery-gray direction. I’m so glad I did because I’m absolutely in love with it like this!! As you can see, there’s zero yellow, any blonde that’s visible is super ashy, and it’s shiny & dimensional enough not to look straight-up gray.Keep in mind that I originally made my hair silver with proper salon-quality toner after a bleaching session — I use the keracolor clenditioner to *maintain* the silver look for the 6-ish weeks between touch-ups.Not only does it help even out any spots I might’ve missed & ensures that the silver doesn’t fade, but also keeps it feeling nice and healthy. In my experience, it feels clean and doesn’t get greasy for at least 3 days (I wash my hair about 2x per week), but everyone is different — if you’re prone to greasy hair, use a shampoo beforehand, and if you’re prone to dry hair, use a conditioner afterward. Please remember that unless you’re trying to tint darker hair, most of the available colors will only turn out as they’re supposed to if you have really really light blonde hair, like a level 9+ — otherwise they may be darker than anticipated or totally ineffective, which can obviously be disappointing. If you do have really pale blonde/bleached hair like mine, you don’t need to leave it in too long for it to work. I leave it in for about 2-5 minutes, but you can leave it in longer for a more intense look.If you dislike the result, the color should come out after a few washes with clarifying shampoo. If the color is still stubbornly clinging to your locks, try using Color Oops — it will not damage your hair, so you can use it as many times in a row as you need to to remove deposited color.Note: My hair is naturally a really dark brown (about a level 4-5 with reddish undertones) but I bleach & tone it myself at home with salon-quality products (I do not/cannot recommend bleaching your own hair — it took a lot of research, some trial & error, and consults with professionals, it is a great skill to have).Overall I highly recommend this as long as you know what to expect :)UPDATE 07/2023: My hair is the same length as it was in those photos about a year ago (I keep it trimmed at a medium bob). As I mentioned in my prior review, my natural dark-brown hair has some red undertones that are hard to get rid of. I’ve had it dyed my natural color for about 8mo now, just from a box. Hoping to dye it a dark silver shade, I did a round of Color-Oops to remove the remaining brown, leaving it with about 4” of natural root and 5” lengths of bleached dirty blonde leftover from my platinum phase. I used the silver Klenditioner on wet hair for about 20 minutes, hoping to tone out some of the aggressive gold while waiting for a tube of professional ultra-ashy toner to arrive. I was so surprised when I rinsed it & saw what a beautiful “bronde” my lengths had turned. I didn’t expect it to do anything to my natural hair, but the red undertones are basically gone, leaving me with super soft dark chocolate to mushroom ombré. I LOVE THIS STUFF.

Hair feels like silk
This is a 5 Star product, I did rate 4 Stars since it does not cover gray, it highlights my gray. I have color treated hair, most recent color was blonde highlights that had turned to an auburn color (I originally have dark brown hair). This product turned all those mixtures of highlights into a very nice dark brown, my hope though was for it to cover my gray sprouts of hair that come from my roots, it did not cover them but highlighted them, making them sparkle and shine (as if I have thin tinsel highlights) when the light hits them. I’m a little sad that it didn’t cover those sprouts of gray but it kind of looks cool. I’m 55 and have fought gray since my early 40’s, blonde highlights always covered it, I’m a brunette and am just tired of the salon prices. I will say this product after 2 uses has turned my hair into what feels like pure silk, so for that, I will keep using to see if it ever covers the tinsel I now have… lol. Buy it, it does work for the most part and it has made my straw hair into silk.
