Keracolor Color + Clenditioner, Semi-Permanent Hair Color, 23 Shades

I tried the Keracolor Color + Clenditioner in Merlot because I knew I’d need something to maintain my hair color between salon visits. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how well this works—it leaves my color vibrant and refreshed without the hassle of a full dye. A few tips: some reviews mention it can get messy, and that’s true—it’s very pigmented, so handle it like you would a traditional box dye. I always use gloves, a brush applicator, and am very careful while rinsing to avoid stains. That small caution is worth it for the results. Love this Clenditioner! I was trying to find a way to spruce up on my color without damaging my hair or having to full out dye it frequently - and I think i found the secret! One thing I appreciated is that it’s very easy to apply and doesn’t make a big mess in the shower like some color products can. It rinses clean and I haven’t noticed staining on my hands or shower surfaces. The color is subtle but still rich, which I actually prefer because it looks more natural rather than overly intense. It also works well as a conditioner on its own — my hair feels smooth and manageable after using it, not dry or coated. For anyone trying to maintain or slightly enhance their existing hair color, this is a really convenient option. One bottle can last awhile, unlike actual dye which are one-time use. Overall I’m very happy with it and will definitely keep using it.

So I want to start out saying that this color did NOT come out the color I wanted or expected but, I know hair color can affect outcomes etc. I ordered the merlot coloring.. So even though I did not like the end color, my review is primarily about the product as a whole. I was fortunate I did strand tests before I actually applied it all over. The smell of this product is great! It was very refreshing. Also, this actually hydrated my hair instead of drying it out like other products I have tried. So their claims of it being a hydrating conditioner seem very valid. The left side of this picture was applied to wet hair and the right side was applied to dry hair. I heard if you apply it to dry hair you get a more vibrant outcome. It did seem to be slightly more vibrant on the right side (dry side but not a ton). I left the product in for about 20 mins then rinsed and dried. As you can see I have a medium darkness of red hair. The product came out a very vibrant color of pink. I was expecting more of the merlot...red/purple. It came out pretty pink. But again I understand i started with medium red colored hair so that maybe why. Even though I didn't get the color I wanted i gave this high stars because it does what they claim. Its conditioned my hair, made it smell great and added color. Just so people know, most of the color washed out significantly in one wash...totally gone by 4 washes...but this product is meant to be used with every wash. They do not state it will last a long time. I don't know how this would've done if I had applied it more times etc...I would assume it would've gotten a lot brighter (which i didn't want cause it wasn't the color I wanted) and it probably would've lasted a lot longer with multiple applications. I was glad this washed out in just a few washes though because it wasn't a color I wanted. All in all, even though I didn't get the color I wanted, I still think this is a great product. I wish the color would've worked out cause I didn't want anything permanent I just wanted a little change for fun and this would've been perfect for that if I had gotten the right color.

Very easy to use smells nice. Love the color and coverage.. So I bought this to cover my grays. I have my crown totally gray well more salt and pepper as I had grew it out pretty much.. I will be turning 64 and wanted a youthful change. I had did the under carriage as I call it black for a couple of years now but the last time I did it with permanent color it was way too dark. So I decided to go with a semipermanent color.. I reserached and found this 3 in one. It did very well on the Grays and it really gave the the black hair a little more depth and slight red hue. Like I said was pretty black so I am really impressed and please. This is not my first time doing doing a bold color used a temporary color cream amatheist purple which I loved but it bleed on every thing sheets, pillow, shirts I had to put a pillow case on the back of my coah and recliner. But as I daid for my birthday inOct I thought I've been wanting to try this color and debated on whether putting it on my gray hair mind you I like my grays but also just time for a change and I'm hoping that it doesn't rub off on things like the temperary color did last time I stained my hair a purple color I loved it but... Anyways we will see how this goes but so far I'm loving it it was easy to use just make sure you wear your gloves put Vaseline on your face and ears hair line area. I left mine on for an hour because I have a lot of gray in my crown and my hair is very thick. Oh one thing is that I could not get the pump to open/the pumper to pop up so I just unscrewed it and put a bunch of it on my glved hands and just really worked it into my hair pretty well of course I did not use a whole bottle but I'm very pleased with the product so far and it looks great so I did a little bit in the Sun for you and then just inside picture oh & that picture is with my gray pretty much grown out before I put the black on it..

I really love this color conditioner. It does a great job refreshing my color while still feeling like an actual conditioner and not something harsh. The color payoff is noticeable but not over the top, which I appreciate because it looks more natural and even. My hair feels soft and hydrated after using it, not dry or stripped like with some color-depositing products. It’s easy to use, works well in the shower, and makes maintaining color between salon visits much easier. I also like that you can control the intensity depending on how long you leave it on or how often you use it. It blends nicely and helps keep my color looking fresh without damaging my hair. This has become a staple in my routine. It does exactly what it promises and actually makes my hair look and feel better.

Works good

Been using various colors (wine, pink, purple, blue) for over a year and wouldn't live without it. It makes my life easier and my hair fabulous. I use it two ways: 1) Twice a month apply to dry hair -- let it stay for 30+ mins and rinse. The color is vibrant, my hair is thick and soft and if I use the Merlot color, by grey roots are colored. My thin frizzy hair is better after this. 2) Use as just a conditioner in the shower on a no shampoo day (about every three days) for maintenance. Leave it on wet hair for less than a minute. Hair is soft and thick. Too many times when I had my hair colored at the salon it would not deliver. Now I just have my stylist cover my roots and rbleach my highlights (without adding color to them). I then take the bleached highlights and I have a color palate at home of Kera color. I can change it at will (I mean I have to consider color choice). Note: If I use the Merlot too often, my highlights kind of disappear bc there is too much dark red deposit. when my highlights get done again (about 3x a year) they come out pink. New thing: Taking different highlights and using different colors. Working with pink and purple right now. Adding blue and staying away from Merlot (usually my fav) so as to keep the new highlights brighter. I had terrible roots once (about 1/4 grey) and I did step one above and it covered them all. I've used GEM before and it leaves my hair in terrible condition and strips it.

I like this product a lot. Fair warning: I did get my hair done at a salon first, but they made my hair more purple leaning than red leaning. My hair is naturally dark brown and I put it over some grown out highlights from a salon visit last year. I waiting until I had 4 or 5 washes before applying this product so I can see the real color rather than a mix and I love it. It is the exact shade I wanted. I get so many compliments. I wet my hair and let it sit for for the max time of 20 min. I do it every wash or at least every other wash so it still looks fresh rather than faded. Strongly recommend gloves and running it through your hair with a comb. I do wish I could have more washes in between without having to reapply but honestly that is what it is like with any semi-permanent color. If they made it too convenient, no one would want to go to the salon. You are basically toning as like goes on, which is what salons do too. If you look in the photo you can notice it looks a little different in the light vs the shade. It is more of a dark burgundy in shade in shade/inside with more red tones when the sun hits it. Overall, 10 out 10 will buy again.

First time trying..will purchase again if it works well.

No coloring at all. Don’t waste your money.

My hair is dyed with Wella Koleston 55/65. I love the colour but with chlorine exposure from weekly swimming with my little one it was already fading after around 4 weeks. I started using a combination of this conditioner and the De Lorenzo ruby red shampoo and together they have completely brough my colour back to life. It is also super hydrating and left my hair feeling silky soft as well as removing a lot of knots before even having to brush it.

If you hair is dark brown, you will get a really nice merlot colour! Especially in the sun. Highly recommend.
