Why complicate what's easy
Works great for me! There's 6 different holes and each one is a different size. I like the fact that I can use different types or sizes, be it with or without the stick stems or even the cone incense. If my stem is too skinny (causing the incent to lean), breaking it off to make it shorter keeps the incense firmly put in any one of the six holes provided OR - breaking the stem and then using the other half of the stick to fit the incense in the largest middle hole works great too! Either way it stands straight up and catches all the ash each time. The tray cleans up easily and the lotus is much prettier than having the basic wooden incense holders. I'm happy with it!

good hold but surroundings near cleaning
good for holding the incense sticks but does not catch all the ashes.

Meh
Doesnโt hold the sticks up to catch the ashes until the stick is burn mostly through and ashes get stuck in corners and becomes difficult to clean. If you like to collect the ashes like I do then you wonโt want this because you wonโt be able to get barely any of the ash that it catches off loosely. It sticks to it and is flimsy and the three stars is only because I like that it has multiple holes and itโs cute and it technically still does catch ash. Iโve had to use a strategically placed container to catch the rest of the ashes.

looks nice but...
for the price it's a nice piece and does what it needs to (hold incense) however it can only really hold 1 of any size at a time, the holes are just small/big enough that additional incense doesn't fit. the petals also come apart easily for easy cleaning, but that also means if you move it around, you risk scattering any ashes sitting on it

Incense sticks may need trimming.
My Dollar Tree store had a variety of incense sticks and no holders! I have essential oil diffusers but I'm trying to cut back on electrical devices so thought I would try the sticks. This was an attractive holder that didn't take up much space on my chair side table. Came next day with Prime. I found that I needed to trim the stems of the incense to fit into the right hole to hold the stick upright, no biggie. (These cheap incense sticks do not have uniform stem sizes) The ash generally falls into the dish but sometimes air circulation will cause it to fall outside. I simply use an old toothbrush to sweep the ash back into the dish and then sweep it all into the trash. I love the way the magnets hold the 2 pieces together, very easy cleaning. No need to wash. BTW, these incense sticks are nicely mild, not overwhelming. I have bought sticks and cones in the past that were way too strong for my taste. Also I have a dog and don't want anything too strong for her either. Anyway, I recommend this holder, great value for the price.

Incense burners
Found the same ones on Temu for .98 after I bought these. These are so cheap they hardly hold a scent stick. They do not fit well for any brand incense Iโve tried. They do not catch the burnt incense it just falls wherever. Maybe I missed the point of these. Maybe they will work well for someone who isnโt really looking for something to hold the stick upright or catch the burnt stuff. I donโt do ceremonial things I just like to burn incense. They are pretty thatโs why I bought them. I just donโt understand why they donโt do anything well other than look pretty.

Works well when you use it properly
I thought this incense holder was so cute and unique! When I first used it the incense would tilt and get all over my table and I thought, it doesn't really work well. One day I put and incense in STRAIGHT UP and it caught everything! I feel in order for this to work you have to make sure the incense is securely straight up in the hole directly in the middle and it will catch all the ash. I sometimes break a tiny bit of the stick at the bottom of the incense and push it in the whole which makes it sturdy! I originally was gonna give this 3 stars but now that I know how to use it, 5 stars ๐

Very pretty but ash misses
The holder is very pretty, exactly what I was hoping for. The only trouble is that the ash doesn't hit the dish at the start. You can see in my picture. I tried lodging the endcin so it stands straight up but it doesn't work so I'll always have a little cleanup to do. Otherwise, for the price it's cute.

Unholy incense dropping ash on othe surfaces
This product is dangerous if u use stick incense -- It does not fit and falls over - Even usuable ones drop hot as onto other surfaces so put it on a plate if you want to use it -- I bought 2 of them - More Chinese crap -- Looking good but useless and dangerous.

It actually works, here's how
The item comes in two pieces top and bottom. Heres how to use it so it works 1. They sit on top of each other but before you attach them, add your incense to the top piece and fit it snug into the hole by pushing/pulling down gently until the incense is firmly standing straight. 2. Cut the excess of the stick that pops out from below. 3. Now place top piece with incense attached onto bottom piece 4. Light and use safely I don't usually write reviews but I had to gamble on this one due to mix reviews and glad I took the chance. I love the look of it when in use and when not in use. It catches all my incense ash with the incense that I am using. It's not hard to clean when using a dry method. I would not advise to leave the item wet as it's low cost and may rust. Hope this helps others :)
