This purse is incredible. I wanted to size down but was afraid I would not be able to transfer everything to this smaller purse. EVERYTHING fit beautifully. Even tho this purse is small, it has so many different compartments that there was no problem with space. I was tired of everything knocking together in the one compartment of my old purse too. Now my phone has it's own zippered area so it won't get scratched. I was not planning to use the waist strap so I cut it out and that made yet another zippered compartment to utilize. Amazing little thing.

Kipling, oh Kipling...how I love your products you silly monkeys! :) LOL I do love Kipling as they generally put out wonderful products that are lightweight and versatile. Well this little convertible cross-body is no exception. In fact, it's a phenomenal product, and I'll tell you why!! :) First of all - this little bag isn't so "little" but not because it's big; more-so because it has tons of pockets and different storage areas and can fit SO MUCH into it! It's the perfect size for a fanny-pack and it's super adjustable so you don't have to worry about it being too small/big and not fitting. Secondly - if you want to wear this as a cross-body purse, the fanny-pack straps tuck secretly away in a little hidden compartment. This is awesome because when you wanna use it as a purse, you'd never know it was/could be a fanny-pack. LOVE THIS FUNCTION! :) The cross-body strap is super comfortable and is also very adjustable. I hate when you buy cross-body bags and they're super long. This one can be long if that's your preference or can be shorter (which is mine). The fabric is great - waterproof, easy to clean, and lightweight! I highly recommend this bag, especially if you're looking for something that's multi-functional and high quality. I had a dying Tumi bag. Used the thing to death. Loved it. The leather trim was frayed and cracking. There was a hole in the microfiber. The red leather accents weren't so red. All good things come to an end. I needed a light, small compact bag, but with multiple compartments, like to separate my things. There are 5 comparments in all. Let's start from the front: Just behind the logo is a gusseted, zippered compartment. This is good for makeup: lipstick, mirror, compact, eyebrow liner, comb, etc. Next is the compartment that runs the length of the bag. It has 3 pockets, 2 for pens and one for cards or small address/note book. There is also an inner zip compartment. Good for your credit cards and cash. It's not RFD so use RFD case or metal to hold credit cards. The rest of this compartment will hold a brush, candybar, whatever. The next comparment also runs the length of the bag, perfect for any size cell phone. It doesn't have any extra pockets, its just for large stuff. And last is an outside zip compartment, its flat but good zip length. You could put a folded airline tix in there, emergency tissues, receipts, etc. Kiplinger fit the bill. Good price (less than retail). Got it in navy, with little ape token hanging from a ring, so cute.

Great size for everyday use and it converts into a belt bag/fanny pack, which is very practical. The material feels durable and well made. Very happy with it.

I LOVE KIPLING. No matter how many different purses I get, I ALWAYS come back to my Kipling's. It might be time for me to just accept it and stop buying anything else. With that being said, I'm currently on the lookout for THE perfect size bag. Obviously, that is going to differ for everybody depending on what you carry with you. My standard items include: - Small Thread brand wallet -Small supplement case -Small case to hold emergency essential oils -Foldable brush - Two small jaw clips - Keys -Larger tubed chapstick -Lip Gloss -Pocket-sized orgonite (remediates EMF) -Cell phone -Pen I think that covers the basics. Sometimes other things get thrown in, but those are my must-haves. I thought this Kipling was the one, but when I had a few other sizes come, this one lost out. At the moment, my favorite is the Keefe - it is small, has five zippered, individuals pockets so I can keep my stuff separated. I love the zippers for security. The only thing I don't love about that one is its overall style, but again, I may have to make peace with that one. The Abanu ultimately was to rectangular and hung strangely on my hip. Otherwise, it also checked all my boxes. That's the only reason why I gave it four stars - I didn't end up choosing that one as THE bag.

It looks small, but fits a lot! Managed to squeeze in a small umbrella, a small water bottle, a power bank, together with my passport, cash and credit cards. Many compartments and an inner compartment to separate your stuff so you don't accidently drop your valuables while taking out often used items like the water bottle. Really good for travelling.
