Akfix 800C Insulation Spray Foam Gun Cleaner - Great Sealant Remover, Dissolves Spray Polyurethane Foam | 1 Pack, 16.9 oz. | Foam Gun NOT Included

I purchased two different items - 24 cans of AKFIX thermcoat spray foam, and the aerosol cleaner for the spray gun. Amazon wants me to review both products in one review. AKFIX Thermcoat: excellent product, we followed the directions and had no issues. 24 cans is 480 "board feet" which means 480 square feet applied one inch thick. This was enough to apply two coats to a 6x8 outdoor pump house building with a little to spare. AKFIX 800C Cleaner: again, excellent product, cleans the spray gun as it should Fortunately I bought two cans, as I did receive a defective one. The other one was fine. The seller was super responsive and made it right within hours of my contact. Couldn't be more pleased. Excellent product and service. Highly recommended.

The foam guns say it is ok to not clean them for up to a month. I have learned to clean it after every use. I try to keep supplied with cleaner.

You can never have enough gun cleaner when you're foaming, right? This stuff is priced right and works perfectly. Going through about 2 cans a week and haven't had any issues. Totally happy with this product

We only used one gun on our entire 900 sq for house. Cleans up great, just clean right after you stop spraying for a while. Just change the plastic disposable nozzle tips about every 15 cans, or if you stop for more than 5 min to get a clean spray We are very happy with these cleaner cans.

I used a new can you clean my gun immediately after use and left it on the gun for storage for 2-3 weeks. I go to use the gun with a new can of foam and the gun is clothed. I try using the cleaner with the missal and it won’t go. Try using a small screw driver to depress the valve and still nothing. Still more than half a can gone to waste. When I opened the gun there was a jelly like substance in it. Left over foam that didn’t quite clean out. This could be common for any cleaner if you leave the gun sitting for a period of time. But still caused a lot of head ache wasted time and wasted money. Trying another product this time. The gun jelly would probably happen with any of them but the fact it wouldn’t spray again shows a poor product. Advice open guns to actually clean.
