Why is corn syrup a listed ingredient? It causes obesity

Thank you for your question. It is a compound ingredient of the Vitamin D3. Powdered Corn syrup solids is added as a compound ingredient for the D3 for binding purposes. As D3 is a fat soluble vitamin it is waxy in nature, so to help with tablet compress/encapsulation purposes the manufacture adds the solids. At most there is 9.73mg per tablet which has a negligible fat content. – Definitely not enough to cause obesity.
