Keeps soup warm, not suitable to cook it, though.
Incredibly slow to heat up, but once it gets there it does the job well. The job of keeping the soup hot, that is, as you certainly won't be able to cook 10l of soup in it, forget it.

Great product. I was looking for another brand, went the price route on this one. I do not use it more than twice a month but what a great tool for keeping soup and more warm for family that is hit or miss on timing.
