Excellent Tool
This is basically a small chainsaw on a long pole. It is very useful and you don't need to climb a ladder and use a chainsaw at the same time.

Awesome Workhorse!
Took a chance with this and very surprised how good it is ! A real powerhouse but then again itโs a B&D โข*just be careful not to over tighten bar adjuster and keep oiled with Bar and Chain oil!!

Surprising how easy this is to use!
Wow! Are you kidding me?! This thing is a performer! Before buying this, I was using a Fiskar manual pole saw. It worked, but it was laborious. Also, since you need to actually perform a sawing motion with a manual saw, you need more space to work, and getting the blade to fit into the place where you want to cut the branch can be a pain. In the summer heat of south Texas, using a manual pole saw is exhausting.Due to my schedule, I had the luxury of charging the battery overnight before I had to use this saw. The next morning when I needed to use it, the whole process was just Zip, Zap, Zoo! I was off and running in minutes. The instructions are clear, and of course, multilingual. There arenโt a lot of pictures in the instructions, but if you read them, theyโre easy to follow, and there isnโt much you have to do with this saw to get it working and keep it working. Assembly is a breeze, but this pole saw is long so give yourself some work space. The saw kit comes with a small oil bottle and a combo Allen wrench/flat screw driver. They work, but if you have your own tools already youโll probably not use them. Some reviewers complained about a loose chain or the chain falling off. My saw arrived with the chain at the perfect tension. All I had to do was oil the chain. I bought some bar and chain oil and filled the little bottle included. Since the chain was tight enough, I simply added a drop of oil to each chain link. Each time I cut branches from the trees, Iโd stop and oil the bar. This SOUNDS like a pain, but itโs not because you have to stop anyway to clear the fallen branches from the work site. So itโs intuitive. I was working alone so I didnโt have a helper to clear away the fallen brush. Iโd stop to clear away the brush, check the chain tension, and oil the links again. The longest part of the process was removing the fallen brush from the area. Honestly, in a whole dayโs work, I never had to tighten the chain once. It held tension. Of course after the day is over I clean, tighten, and oil the chain again before putting the scabbard back over the bar. What a workhorse! I have several of these Black and Decker 20v tools so I brought 2 batteries to the work site. I only used PART of one charge for the day. I never needed the second battery. With all 3 sections together, the pole gets a bit floppy. I found it increased the challenge of keep the saw where I wanted it. The solution was to simply slow down very slightly and take a few more seconds to carefully place the bar where I wanted it before starting the saw. Although the chain doesnโt spin as fast as a 2-cycle saw, it still cuts quickly. In fact, it still cuts fast enough that you really need to wear a hard hat working with this. Faster than I could get away, I had an oak branch fall 15โ and hit me in the head. If I hadnโt been wearing a hard hat, Iโd have ended up in the ER with a head injury. It should also go without saying that ANYTIME youโre working above your head, you should wear eye protection regardless of what the task is. As far as limbing trees, donโt make yourself a statistic or a laughing stock, buy a hard hat.

Happy Fathers Day
Father loved it which is all that matters, always wanted a chainsaw on a stick. That said lightweight, batteries fit with previously bought products which is great.

Keeps me off a tall ladder
Review Sept 14, 2022This pole saw is very handy and works well after several years of use. We have a 1/2 acre property with too many trees and bushes. Keeping things thinned out is an ongoing process.I long ago gave up using a manual pole saw. This powered type is quicker and works quite well.I'm not young and won't use a ladder taller than 8 foot due to the potential danger. This pole saw allows me to reach branches 15 or more above the ground. A single battery charge lasts 20-30 minutes. Replacement chains are cheap.I recommend this pole saw.

Perfect pole saw
Great for small projects around the house or strapped to a 4wheeler and riding property to take care of pruning areas.
