Is it non-gmo? where are the peppers grown? thanks!

I went to their website and asked this question in the chat. The response given was “Depending on seasonality, either Korea or Mexico. They are dried and processed in the US.”

What justifies the exorbitant price for only 2 oz. of flakes? There are similar products offering 16 oz. of flakes for only $11!

It’s Amazon. And if you are in a rural area, it may be the only way to get it. I personally would find and Asian market on line and order from them rather than the AMazon vendors. Much better prices.

What's the difference between flakes and powder? Are they interchangeable?

Great question. The flakes are whole flakes of pepper that holds more of the flavor (almost like crushed red pepper). The powder is fully ground. To make the flakes into a powder, place in a spice or coffee grinder or blender to powderize. Otherwise, you can use flakes in most recipes instead of the powder.

What is the complete ingredient list for this product?

it is 100% red pepper flakes and makes great Kim Chee.
