Livabliss Desta Vintage Oriental Area Rug,2' x 3',Charcoal

I got this rug for my dining area, as soon as I put it it changed the whole room! My dark table and chairs looked boring before this rug and now the dining area looks so ALIVE! The rug is thin and perfect for the purpose we had for it, it's also SUPER SOFT! I didn't expect that, it has shades of blue, dark and light gray, and a little bit of gold. It's perfect to cover stains. Before I installed it I sprayed a rug protectant product as I have two dogs who run on it. I would totally recommend this rug!! ***UPDATE*** I've had this rug for almost 2 years now and I still love it. It has survived a few accidents (my dog peed on it), we have a rug shampooer and it cleans it very well. Because it's in the dining room, red salsa, and food has fallen on it. I also have a 4 year old who has drawn artistic pieces on it with her crayons, and I have to say that everything has come off of it. There's a high traffic area and it's not as soft as in the past, but underneath the table is still pretty soft.

I rarely feel compelled to write reviews, but I spent weeks reading reviews and looking at photos of carpets so I hope this helps someone! I ordered the 7'10" x 10'2" Charcoal rug and paid $99.81 — a total bargain, in my opinion! I was struggling to find the right color rug because I have light hardwood floors with a dark gray couch, but the earthy tones in the carpet really pulled everything together! This is the perfect size rug for a sectional. I knew from other reviews that this carpet is not extremely plush, but for the price I felt this was the best deal. Also note that this has an ombré effect, so certain areas may be darker or appear more “washed out” than others. I suggest choosing which side you prefer visible BEFORE struggling to lift a sectional by yourself 😅 Shipping was great, it arrived much earlier than expected. I ordered this on Thurs. 9/3 and received it Tues. 9/8. Even with the holiday weekend AND a pandemic, it arrived early! Came rolled up in plastic, so don’t expect a giant box. Do I wish it was fluffier? Yes. Do I want to pay hundreds of dollars for a fluffy rug? No. Still rating it a 5/5!

I purchased this rug for our bedroom. I got the 7 foot by 10 foot long one in grey. It’s absolutely beautiful!! It’s not to thick but not to thin either. It looks very expensive & vintage looking. Exactly what I was looking for for our bedroom. I have a full sized bed but eventually getting a queen & it fits under there just the way I wanted it to. It smells only a little bit but only if u stick your nose to it. It’s not that curled up either like other reviews said. It only is a bit on each end where it was rolled up. But I have Velcro tape I will be using for that to keep it secure to the floor anyway. Looks just like the pictures in real life!! Does not look like it was printed on at all. Very high quality for a incredible price. $100 I believe I paid for a 7x10 foot rug is a wonderful price for a great quality looking rug! This is why I love & always only shop on Amazon!!! I purchased two of these rugs in October (8x10) for my TV room. One went in our sitting area with 2 couches , a chair and coffee table. The other went under a pedestal table and chairs. The rugs are pretty, but on the thin side. I did place a pad under them both as I have wood floors. The one in the sitting area was great. The one under the table was a disaster! It bunched up on both sides of the table. I even added some anti slip pads between the rug and pad as well as some of the sticky tape for rugs. It would not lay flat. Also one corner kept curling up. I ended up turning the rug upside down and taking my steam iron to the now permanent bumps. This flattened the rug. Then I used Roberts Rug Traction tape on the back. It took 4 rolls. I put it cross wise across the rug in an X, then across all 4 sides and lastly ran 4 strips the whole length OT the rug. We put it back down, kept the pad and the rubber anti slip and it is staying flat and not creeping. I used a felt type under pad. In hind sight would have been better to have gotten one with the rubber on one side. Anyway, it looks nice now. I have big dogs and it does not show dirt wear. For the price it’s an ok rug. Also our dining chairs roll and the pile has not crushed under the castors. Over all an ok rug once I got it to stay flat.

This is seriously a great rug, especially for the price! I recently bought a different brand of rug that was $60 more and ended up returning it due to the awful quality. This rug is fantastic! Beautiful colors, not too thick but not too thin either, it isn’t lavishly soft but it’s a lot softer than I expected it to be. I haven’t had any problem with it curling up. I’ve had this rug less than a week and it’s laid flat since the day I unrolled it. I also appreciate the little covers that the company put on the ends of the rug so it wouldn’t get damaged in shipping. I am seriously impressed with the quality, look and size of this rug. I just ordered another one today to put under my dining room table. Shipping was quick too! 5 out of 5 stars for sure! Update: 7 months later and I’m still loving both rugs! (2nd pic)

The rug came packaged very nicely along with end cap coverings. It was very easy to unroll & lay out & it did not have any strong smell to it. There are only a couple of light wrinkles to fall out and one end will need a couple of books placed on it overnight, but that’s normal. The rug is very soft and has a heavy enough backing that it won’t need a rug pad underneath with my furniture placed on top. There is a slight ombré effect to the rug, but if you look at the product pictures it clearly shows that. It’s a beautiful rug and a great price.

I've had this rug for over a year and it's been good. It's in a high traffic area and has held up pretty well. The problems have arisen due to my older small dog who is starting to go to the bathroom in the house every now and then. She unfortunately has peed on the rug and, while I cleaned up the mess and dried the spot immediately, the rug has warped to such an extent that I am going to have to replace it. Perhaps this is a repercussion of rugs getting wet, but I have numerous other rugs in the house which have suffered the same dog pee scenario, and none of the others have had any issues. I'd love it if there was a solution to this because the rug is decent, but it looks like I'm going to have to get a new one. Very frustrating!

This rug is PERFECT! For our family and home this rug exceeds expectations! * The rug is thin- but you can easily remedy with a carpet pad! I personally have not added a pad underneath and it is still prefect! The rug is SO SOFT! This is something I was very impressed with! To the touch the carpet is lovely! As for the comments/reviews that say the carpet does not lay flat- this is true for any carpet! I remedied the issue immediately with double sided mounting tape squares (from Dollar Tree!) I placed in each corner and along the width to keep flat while it was settling and it keeps the carpet in place! (We have a 1.5 yr old and 2 dogs that like to rearrange whenever they can!) The carpet has also seemed to darken and the pattern has become more prominent over the last few weeks! Amazing! I highly recommend this rug!!
