ParKoo Gel Ink Refills Compatible with FriXion Erasable Gel Pens, 14 Colors

As a left-handed, dyslexic, math teacher turned homeschooling mom... my go to in life has always been the pencil Dixon Ticonderoga--for sure the best. Then I met these gel pen erasables through Frixion first and the Parkoo about 8 month later. Parkoo are cheaper. They have refills in a variety of fun colors and work great in both the Frixion and Parkoo Pens. The ink stands out better than pencil and makes math easier to do than ever before. (Also a big fan of math being done on graphing paper--Mead 5 star graphing notebooks) The variety of colors comes in handy with algebra (changing signs, inverting and multiplying) and geometry. I am always grading papers and colors like orange and pink are less "mean" than red and if I screw up on marking a problem wrong by using the wrong answer key...I can erase and start over. We started using these pens for math and now use them for most of homeschooling. Spelling has really benefited too. Just be careful I have accidentally written a check with these and had to start over. People are not wrong...these last as long as a gel pen, not a standard ink pen. Gel is thicker...basic understanding of volume means it won't write as long as a standard Bic ball point. However, the benefits for homeschooling mean that I am willing to purchase refills for the 5 of us about every other month. Small price to pay for the benefit that we have enjoyed from vibrant, erasable pens. I do feel that the Parkoo refills write smoother than the frixion refills. This also leads to them having a slightly shorter life because the ink runs smoothly until the end without getting scratchy like frixion tend to.

I love these pens!! I discovered Frixion brand pens, but they were SO expensive and I couldn't find refills for them anywhere (I even went directly to their website in the UK) so I just couldn't justify the price. Did some reasearch and decided to try these pens and am SO HAPPY I did. I read a review that said their pens ran out after just a few days so to be safe, when I ordered my pens I also ordered a refill pack. Welp. I've been writing daily, nonstop with these pens for 2 months now and have not needed the refills. I've used them to fill out my paper planners for personal needs as well as work (I plan my work many months ahead at one time), to plan out our entire homeschool year in my school planner -- literally filled in many sheets and wrote countless lesson plans for all 9 months of school, plus I've just been using them for everything else. My 11 year old daughter liked these so much that I ordered a second set for her because we found ourselves sharing one set that we were each constantly using, so one of us was always wanting the other's pen. At $13 for a set of 12 pens, I had no hesitation ordering a second set! I usually don't prefer gel style pens, but they write so well that I really like them. They're smooth and not blotchy. And they do exactly what they say they do -- erase well! I'm a paper and pen person and it's so great to be able to write in vivid pen color without needing whiteout or winding up with scratch marks/doodles all over a page where I made a mistake. I rarely write reviews, but I really wanted to write one for these pens because I think people believe "you get what you pay for" and so the Frixion brand pens must be better, but they're not. My friend, who introduced me to her Frixion brand pens, can't get refills for her pens and has decided to replace them with these ParKoo brand pens. She's tried mine and likes them just as much, if not more. Plus, for a fraction of the price, you get more colors! Seriously, it sounds funny but we like these pens soooo much that, since they're so inexpensive and I'm looking to be extra frugal this holiday season, I plan to buy several sets of these as holiday gifts. I know everyone who gets these will like them. ...ParKoo, if you're reading this, please keep making these great pens and the refill packs! Thanks for making such a great product and selling at such a great price.

I only use Pilot Frixion erasable pens, but they tend to be expensive. I decided to try this generic refill because it was a good price, especially compared to original refills. I am super impressed! One doesn't work, the pen won't click, but the others I've tried are as good, if not better considering color choices, than the original Pilot Frixion Clicker. One downside is that I thought these refills would fit both the Clicker and the stick pen... They do not. These only fit the Frixion Clicker pens. A lot of people said the ink didn't last long... I found that same problem with the entire Frixion line. I will update my review if I find there is a noticeable difference as I use them longer.

These pens are literal life-savers for note-taking. the refills allow me to not buy a new pen every time the ink runs out (happens often with erasable pens). Parkoo runs out fast, but the refills can make you last months before ever needing to buy a new pack, even if you use the same pen for every class. They are VERY potent on paper and they look great on many varieties of paper. They fit in almost any kind of erasable pen, doesn't need to be ParKoo specifically. They're great for their value for lasting as long as they do. My only problem is how fast each one runs out. While the whole box can last a really long time, I'm replacing refills every two weeks, but that's probably because of how well they let out ink.

I have been a regular user of the Pilot Frixion erasable gel pens for many years now. I am a puzzle book addict, and I use these instead of pencils. As much as I loved the Pilot pens, they did not erase cleanly and the ink ran out so fast. I decided to try these refills (I also bought a set of their multi-color erasable gel pens) and I will NEVER LOOK BACK! This ink is dark and juicy, it lasts a very long time, and it erases completely and cleanly. For those of you who know the paper in puzzle books, this is no mean feat! I would recommend these to ANYONE looking for a good erasable gel pen!!

I ordered these six months ago. They seemed to be fine, although not as great as the Frixxion pens, which i loved. I thought this would be just a cheaper replacement, and since I went through those rather quickly, if I didn't like them I could get the name brand refills next time. However, the end result is that I don't use them anymore. They are fine, but not great. So they just sit there and I buy and use other pens. I would not buy them again, nor recommend them. Also, there are a few colors that are particularly bad - the green and the dark red, which I tend to use the most.

I am a repeat customer for these refills. I use them daily as a teacher, as refills in my ParKoo pens and FriXion pens. They fit both pens equally well, they write smoothly, and they erase well with the friction eraser on the pens. The reason for my loyalty to the ParKoo refills is that this color of blue is great! It is brighter than the FriXion blue, so I can use it for regular writing or when I need my ink to stand out on a page (grading, annotating, etc.). The price is right and I just wish ParKoo would sell purple refills as well.

Within this last year I purchased a Rocketbook, which uses Frixion pens. I have just used another brand for paper, but fell in love with the reusability and functionality of Rocketbook for notes and Journaling. As the ink started to be used up I got refills from Pilot Pens directly, replaced ink, and kept going. Smooth, easy to remove, nice. The problem is I got a set of 7 with colors, and Pilot Pens don't have a set to replace the colors in that set. Or the sets were too big (I thought) so I looked to alternates and found ParKoo Gel Ink Refills Compatible with FriXion... with all the colors! I was so excited to get it, cardboard box, ok, all just there, ok. Spill out everything and sort. Ok, these colors match, so replaced ink, and went to write in the Rocketbook. No color, and the pens dragged. Any color I tried is spotty and scratches my pages. What a waste of money. Went to the pilot site and got that and we are back in business. Recycle the box is nice. Tossed ink. not recommended for Rocketbook Core as that is the only thing I use. Trust me, I tried these on paper after the Rocketbook, too sheer and one (teal or turquoise) tore the paper before it put out ink. Not Recommended

They don’t work. The ink doesn’t comes out sporadically when you’re trying to write. Very frustrating. I threw them out!
