Easy to spot weld
I would not be surprised if these are second or third efficiency bin, but they arrived undamaged and pass muster as far as open circuit voltage and short circuit current for my purposes are concerned. I recommend NOT using a soldering iron and instead using an 18650 spot welder (backed up with a 12V 100 Ah LiFePo battery) at low power (weld energy 5) for fast, clean, easy and reliable results.

Basically the most advanced consumer cell, and easier connection together than typical cells.
Cons: Expensive! Definitely paying a premium for these. Despite flexibility just as easy to break as any other cell. Look at them wrong and they break.

Extremely high defect rate. 1 in 4 performed poorly. Some DOA.
I bought 120 even though I only needed 80. I still ended up running out. A large number of cells were outputting at less than 70% of spec, and of those, half were below 30%. Cells are also very fragile and prone to breaking during soldering and assembly.
