Novelty Lights Twinkle Christmas Replacement Bulbs, C7 E12 Base, 25 Pack

I will give these light bulbs a 5 star rating since 24 out of 25 worked upon testing. One was broken during shipping, but that's O.K. I have ordered these lights from other companies before and sometimes there have been 4 or 5 in a box that would not work or lit for about 3 seconds. I have come to expect that with these twinkling light bulbs over the years. The extra little blinking device inside the bulb sometimes does not work from the start or very long after the bulb is lit, but most of them last a very long time for me. I always liked these lights ever since I was a kid, and their blinking action is just as good for me as the very expensive lights and controllers of today. I use these outdoors with regular incandescent miniature lights which creates a beautiful effect. If you are like me and cannot afford or don't want the spend a fortune on smart lights or things like that, this is the way to go for simplicity. One thing I will say is that the boxes used to pack these are becoming cheaper as time goes by. But what isn't getting cheaper quality as time goes by? I will surely buy more of these as needed as I use them year round for different holidays.

I remember these fondly from my childhood, and I bought these 3 different kinds to compare. All of the bulbs that I tested worked (I only tested 4 from each package). All of them twinkled. The ceramic bulbs have a frosted colored glass, and the other two have an un-frosted colored class. The bulbs from Noma/Inliten had the longest delay between flashing on and off, and the Novelty lights seemed to have the quickest flash, with the Ceramic bulbs somewhere in between. Oh.My.Word!!!! It took a few minutes, but the first bulb to twinkle instantly transported me 40+ almost 50 years back to my childhood!!!!! All bulbs arrived in great working condition, good packaging, too. I will be buying more!!! Please remember though, incandescent bulbs generate waaaay more heat than any other type and that can be a valid concern when stringing these on a live/cut tree, at least. I am so happy I bought these!!!

Good twinkle replacement lights. Don’t last a long time. They are hard to find anywhere else though

The bulbs are nicely colored and flash like they’re supposed to. I will continue to but these as needed.

I just received these 1 hour ago at 5:25 pm on 12/12/2024. The photo is exactly what I saw when I opened the box. I had 11 bulbs loose and rolling around in box 5 red, 5 magenta, and 1 blue bulb. I did quickly tested all bulbs, only 1 red bulb would not come on at all. They do twinkle at random intervals. Some bulbs infrequently and some more rapidly. I feel I lucked out with only 1 bulb not working. I have no idea as to longevity of these bulbs. I had bought 100 ft C7 light string for incandescent lights. I wanted the ability to have some C7 twinkle lights, 3 bubble lights and the rest led lights ( I have not been able to find led C7 bulbs that twinkle, and I wanted a Christmas tree like when I was a kid). Overall I got what I wanted. For 1 non working bulb I won’t be returning them as not worth the bother. However, I felt that they should have been packaged better. I felt that fellow consumers should know so they can make their own informed decision. I don’t know if I would buy from them again or not, as I don’t know how long bulbs will last ( especially ones rolling around in box).

I ordered 25 Yellow Twinkle lights but was sent steady burn lights instead. Mislabeled at the factory, distributor corrected problem, No 25 Yellow Twinkle lights available so they sent me 25 Multi-colored Twinkle lights at no cost.

We have old sets of twinkle lights and the replacement bulbs are hard to find locally. I am delighted with this box of lights and they arrived very quickly.

Some bulbs burn out as soon as you screw them in

9 out of the 25 bulbs defective. No response to emails for refund, so I had to file a claim with Amazon.
