My carpets are beige, I have a 14 year old, a Corgi and a Ragdoll cat. They're dirt magnets and my living room is a through road from upstairs to the kitchen. The carpet was in much need of a clean and this machine was fantastic! Out of the box it's about as easy to put together as you can get. Two screws and you're away. My initial thoughts were hmm, it feels flimsy and a bit rickety but appearances can be deceiving. It more than lived up to the task. It's not super heavy so you can manoeuvre it easily enough and it does a really, really good job. I've hired industrial cleaners in the past and this outshines them. £120 well spent. Pros Cheap. Easy to put together and use. Amazing suction. A quick and easy way to get your carpets back. Cons It is quite loud (wear earphones) but that's a sign of power. It WILL kick out furballs if you have animals. I hoovered and brushed beforehand and it still found (alot) more fur. Not really a con I guess but be prepared to pick up more fur as you go. The lead can get in the way and get stood on but make sure you use the clip on the handle for to keep it out of the way. I'm always sceptical when spending over £100 on an item but reat assured, this is a great bit of kit.

I purchased this carpet and upholstery cleaner after thorough research and reading numerous reviews, and I’m very pleased with my decision. It cleans carpets effectively and did a great job on my sofa too. That said, I found the spot-cleaning head better suited to surfaces like stairs rather than the curved surfaces of furniture. Despite this, it still managed to refresh my sofa, which now looks and smells much cleaner. You could potentially use it to clean car upholstery - and I certainly plan to try - but I am going to look to purchase a narrower head if I can. The cleaner is somewhat heavy but remains easy to manoeuvre around the house. The long hose made cleaning our staircase straightforward, and the electric cord is a good length, allowing me to move around a room without needing an extension cable. The kit includes a small bottle of detergent, but I recommend purchasing a larger bottle if you plan to do extensive cleaning. Our carpets took a full 24 hours to dry completely. I plan to re-clean during the warmer summer months when drying will be quicker. I was quite shocked by the colour of the water extracted - it really showed how much unseen dirt was trapped in the carpets! Overall, this cleaner is a solid choice for deep cleaning carpets and upholstery. Just be prepared for the drying time, which can vary depending on carpet thickness, humidity, and ventilation, and consider the weight when moving the machine around. Its cleaning power and ease of use make it a worthwhile investment for maintaining a fresh home environment. Finally, it is fairly noisy so I recommend wearing earphones to help reduce the noise especially if you're planning to use it for an extended period of time.

I am thoroughly impressed with this carpet cleaner. For the record, we have a cat and renting a house that had very nasty carpet. Probably hasn't been cleaned in years. That being said, we wanted to give a try and i'm glad we did. This is our first carpet cleaner. Although the machine is fairly loud, it didn't pose a problem to us, since our 1600w hoover is just as loud. It cleaned most stains, but couldn't handle turmeric tea stains, we have ordered better cleaning liquid as some complains did mention that 250ml vox liquid that came with it, not only performed poorly it was overly expensive too moreover it didn't last long either. In our case it lasted for cleaning only the living room, so it eats it like crazy, bear that in mind. Vox carpet ox cleaning liquid is very overpriced, typically 1l/1.5l going for 3x the price as 5l of other brands, which can be safely used as a substitute. The bottom brush will accumulate a lot of hair, especially if you have pets, you can safely remove with a comb which I advise to do as the hair will eventually slow down the rotating mechanism of brushes. I personally use a small beard brush that does the trick. I'd recommend that a small comb be included with this type of product. I'd be very useful. The rest of hair typically accumulates on the floor creating small wet balls of fluff which can be easily picked up. Another improvement would be if the hose could be attached somehow more firmly to the machine. Besides that it is fairly heavy but performs very well in my opinion as a first time user. You will need to change water and refill it several times to have a thorough cleaning as it consumes water just as quickly as the cleaning liquid.

Really like this item, in saying that it is heavy, but manageable, soon as received set it to work immediately, easy to set up attaching and detaching, parts and items, filled with water and cleaner and away I went and was shocked at the amount of dirt that came out the carpets, and how dirty the water was when emptied, changed the water and continued, it done well and cleaned the carpets to like new, also dried, attachments easy to assemble and put away, once started the cleaning of the carpets the vacuum was easy to push and pull back and forth, I could not get over how well it worked on the deep cleaning, the clear views of the two chambers is good, you can see the difference and changing of the water, so good - amazing to say! This carpet and upholstery cleaner is amazing! It’s very easy to put together, the instructions for use are simple and I found it’s not very messy once you’ve finished. It cleans aswell as any professional clean and the hand held tool also cleans the upholstery so well it looks brand new! I’d highly recommend this product. It’s less cost then getting someone in, it’s easy to store and you can just get it out and fill the tank as much or as little as you want depending on what you want to clean.

Really easy to put together, does the job to a professional standard! - by far the best carpet cleaner iv had and one of the cheaper ones! Many of the reviews state that the cleaner is “very heavy” - the item is on the bulkier side … but that’s to be expected given the size of the water tanks (meaning fewer refills and emptying!) I don’t particularly find it too heavy but for those that do… remove both of your water tanks and carry just the cleaner itself either up/down the stairs/to your preferred room… nip back, grab your tanks … voila 🤗 Also, no judgment to the reviews… but please, PLEASE do not empty your dirty water down your sinks! This is just going to cause problems for you in future (blockages, odours etc) - flush it! 🤗 Overall this is a great item, I completed 3 rooms and my hallway in under an hour on the deep clean setting, all was dry in around 40 mins and no nasty smells were lingering - highly recommend ☺️ Update! Still going strong 4 months in .. using this once a week to do the whole house! Took out my accessories today to have a go at doing my sofa.. found that I’d been sent the wrong ones … be mindful to check all extra parts fit once you receive this item just in case you go over your return date

I love love this carpet cleaner. It's super easy to use and store. The base is bulkyish but no more than I thought. It stores well and is easy to clean after use. I use this way more than I thought I would. The rinse and then wash feature is fab especially for muddier floors or stains. It's super scary to see what comes up off the carpet. I use this regularly and I've had no problems with the carpet taking too long to dry. The handheld attachment is ideal for stairs or upholstery. I've recommended this model to a few friends, it's perfect for a busy family house.
