This works great. Maybe not the prettiest device, but it’s been a big help with my foot drop. This is the fourth device I’ve tried, and works best. You can route the rubber cord through it different ways to get different amounts of ‘pull’ on the foot. One modification I made was instead of using the metal hooks supplied, I inserted 1” metal key rings in my shoes. These rings are easier to hook on to.

After going through 4 braces and sending them back for CMT drop foot issues, the other braces were "In the shoe" and not working for me at all. Ordered this one to try out and it really works well. I had a hip replacement done in December, and the surgery made my CMT more active in the same leg for the drop foot issues. After falling from my toe dragging the floor after putting my tennis shoe on, I needed a reliable brace to keep the foot up. This one does the job, beautifully. I even found that I was walking straight and normal with the new hip, while wearing this brace, so it is helping to realign my bones in my feet to my hip byholding the foot up, properly, while walking. I have to have help putting this brace on for the new hip limits of not bending past 90 degrees, but this brace is very easy to adjust the pull and the tension needed for a very comfortable fit and support. After evaluating many of these foot brace designs, even looking at some that were $1000. +, I am thrilled to have found this brace. Very well made, you can purchase replacement parts and it fits very well. Just be certain to measure your ankle as in the photos to get the best size for the best fit. This is a fabulous product and the only “brace” that has improved my severe foot drop after a prosthetic hip fracture/repair with resultant peroneal nerve injury severe foot/ankle inversion and foot drop. I was in rehab for two months with no improvement and just happened to find this on Amazon/ about the 10th kind I have purchased and finally improvement! I am a retired MD and have been to 3 different specialists with no improvement until now- I am grateful ! I hook both cords to distal lateral aspect to strengthen lateral pull and solve the severe foot/ankle inversion

Easy to use and definitely helps with foot drop, it's adjustable to fit your needs.

Works very well. It will slide down at times to just above the ankle. It can cause pain on the tendon. I use an ankle wrap to protect the tendon.

My wife has nerve damage complications from a recent hip surgery. To address the drop foot associated with the nerve damage, we've tried different AFOs (Ankle Foot Orthosis). Our current model uses velcro, which tends to wear out and not stick to the AFO surface. I bought this for the elastic cords that fasten to the shoe eyelets. Pros: The AFO is sturdy and the elastic cords are strong and adjustable. It does keep the foot pulled up into a 90 degree angle. Cons: The elastic cords are so strong that they tend to pull the ankle/calf collar down into the heel of the shoe. It pulled down into my wife's shoe and was very uncomfortable. It may be possible to tighten the collar to prevent the slip down, but that would likely result in some circulation loss. The collar may also be directed over the back of the heel, preventing it from lowering into the shoe itself.

I purchased this 9 months ago. I think this is one of the best products for foot drop. It is easy to put on, very comfortable all day wear. I have tried several different styles, none of them compare to this. The fact that you can order the band and the hooks separately is great. I ordered extra hooks for the shoes so I do not need to change them out. I have had this one for 10 months and just had to replace the band portion. The velcro and the support are still going strong! Only issue was the sizing. I ordered the medium/large and it was too loose, but was able to exchange for the x small/small. I am an average size male but had to go with the smaller size.

Great assist for those dealing with foot drop! Locally manufactured in Wisconsin Quick shipping and great customer service - Over time the bungee cord got a bit stretched and the Velcro wore out. This little device has avoided several falls as it keeps the toes from getting stuck while walking - especially helpful for folks dealing with foot drop from MS or strokes or other related disorders. Adjustable fit and good quality.

My grandma broke her hip, had surgery, and was left with no feeling in her right leg or foot. She was recommended to get a very specific brace to help with her new mobility challenges, and this brace has been perfect. I bought her a pair of the Hoka Solimar shoes and the brace works wonderfully with them

This is one of the most expensive unit but it is worth the money. It is the same unit I used while I was in the hospital during my recovery. It allows rather fine adjustment to my need (ie more or less tension, more tension on which side of my foot, etc). I have been using the footflexor when I did my walking exercises and I found that the footflexor helped me to walk easier and walk further distance. Due to te fine adjustment, the footflexor can be adjusted to my various stages of my condition during my recovery. I am very happy with it and believe that I get what I pay for.

It’s great. You can wear it outside your shoes. You need shoes that has shoeties because you need to hook it where you put the shoelace are.

This is a very good product but we need to buy additional clips, not the whole brace
