Great Buy!
Holds the gas cans pretty good, there is slight movement but it ain’t going anywhere. The material they used seems high quality. The nuts and bolts they give you are very small so a little hard to put together. I’m glad I spent the extra money on this and would buy again!*I’m using the Midwest Jerry Cans and they seem perfect for this holder

Wouldn't Buy It Again, Changed my mind. see review
This is a good idea that needs some better engineering. What is up with the super small bolts ? The nylocks were a good touch but half way thru trying to put these tiny M4 nuts on M4 bolts, I was ready to make a list of bolts and nuts for a run to Home Depot, then take my drill and bore out the holes bigger for bolts you can work with better. And the rear hinges could be done better. How about leaving the tangs that fit thru the slots another 1 - 1/1 inches longer so they don't spring out of the slots at the slightest touch. Or even putting some real hinges bolted back there. If I was doing it over, I would buy 2 single jerry can holders and strap them together. Addendum : I decided to put my money where my mouth was, so I added some simple improvements to this Jerry Can holder. I cut off the tangs at the back side of the hold down straps, and added 1 1/2 inch hinges using 10-24 bolts and nylocks. I added 2 support cross bars made of 1 inch x 1/8 inch aluminum flat stock bar. This adds much more stability to the hold down apparatus, it doesn't twist and flop around now, just folds back to give you access to the cans, then folds over them and latches. I am going to use this in the bed of my Jeep Gladiator so I added 4 rubber feet so it wouldn't slide around. Over all , I really like this jerry can holder now.

NOT universal.
I ordered this because I want to carry two jerry cans and have it mounted to the roof basket on my vehicle. It isn't universal and is intended for their rack system. I will be doing some modification to make it work and have to figure out a bracket system. One other thing that may be my misunderstanding but it really isn't designed for the old style military jerry cans with the screw on lids. They fit and I will be able to use them but I will have to also get some kind of cable locks to secure the lids on the cans to prevent theft. The latch lock holes are very small so you won't be able to use a substantial lock there to prevent theft.

Versatile and great fit
I have the waiver 5 gallon jerry cans and it holds them very nicely with no shift. I have an arb roof rack so I had to modify a bit, works great.

Good bang for the buck
It isn’t super heavy duty so I was wondering on stability, but I put it through a real rough first run and it is solid, so no wasted weight. The latches only take a TSA size lock so I slightly drilled out to accept a better lock. And the latch mounting screws could be a hair longer to fully engage the nylon locknut insert, but some thread lock should cover that.Note: this is not powder coated stainless steel. Only the latches are stainless. Not a negative as at this price you can’t expect SS, but just so you are aren’t surprised.

poor quality crap, cheap, flimsy and rusts quick, paint peels
frontrunner makes things to put on and go to expos then go home, there products dont hold up to the true testing. my roof rack, rail kit, jerry can holder, jerry cans, and every bit of hardware and accessories from them are poor quality, they have peeled, rusted, become squeaky and rattling. they may look nice when new but this brand is for instagram and expos not for really overlanding and 4x4ing

Easily modified to fit aftermarket car top carrier and extreme duty locking.
With having all those modifications, they charge way to much, in my opinion.
