I bought two different kinds of test and I actually like these the best! Very easy to use and to read the results. I stopped smoking 11 days ago and I started to see a faint test line on Day 8. Today’s line was much stronger and I feel confident that my results are negative for nicotine and cotinine!

I’m writing this review for all the others out there who are very nervous about taking the test. A positive result can have very serious consequences! I smoked my last cigarette on Wed. night. First test was Saturday evening. I expected it to be positive, but I wanted a benchmark test. Sunday’s results looked like it was leaning toward negative possibly, but Monday was definitely positive for nicotine/cotinine. So was Tuesday. This was taking longer than I thought. Wednesday a.m., it came out clearly negative. I took a second test about a half hour later, and negative again. Within the hour, I had taken the test at the lab. It came out Negative. Whew! Six full days of not smoking. I do smoke like a fiend, so it maybe took longer for me than it might for others. I definitely trust this test. I bought two batches for a total of ten tests and used six. You will definitely know when it’s negative because the line will color up immediately.

I purchased these for 1 of my cousins. To see if they truly worked, I used 1 on my husband and 1 on my Auntie who have never smoked and it indicated that they had nicotine in their system.

I got his test for my wife to use as she just quite smoking and had to take a test for insurance. I selected this test because it is much more sensitive than the usual smoking tests. This is a 100 ng test, whereas the standard tests are 200 ng. I understand that your cotinine level (that is the breakdown product of nicotine that it detects) can vary quite a bit during the course of the day and throughout the first few days when you quit, so we wanted a test that we were sure would show if she was really clean. This test was perfect, as she got one positive and all the rest were negative, and she passed her insurance test. Since my dad died of lung cancer I've been encouraging my wife to quite, and this test was really helpful. Easy to use, easy to read the results, very discrete and quick shipping.

Seems to test well however I do not like the way the results are written. Two lines is negative and one line is positive. Does that mean two lines means negative for Cotinine? Or the opposite.
