Awesome thermometer, it was great and I tested it with my contact thermometer. Accuracy is a bit touch and go but accurate 99% of the time.

Got this for when our newborn had her first set of Vaccinations with the nurse at the GP. It's really good and from what we can tell accurate and the readings were fast to take. Also the size is good and the design is very sleek which I like. One downfall is that there isn't an overall off switch. So when it's in your bag or back of a drawer/cupboard it can switch on easily which can drain the batteries. Something to bear in mind.

Honestly. In the beginning it looked impressive, but in the end came to the conclusion that only looks, the performance its just lame, I have two kids, and every time they were feeling ill(feverish) I could never detect fever with this thermometer. But today was the the limit, my daughter was Boiling really so hot that I could feel the temperature at distance. Measured it it came up 36.6 ( like alway) obviously not happy with this took my daughter to the GP and she was with 38.9, which is ridiculous and very dangerous to rely on this gadget! I do not recommend!

Needing a no-touch Thermometer, I spent a long time trawling through Amazon and Pharmacy websites looking for a basic, reliable device. Unfortunately everywhere is awash with pop-up brands and new to market Thermometers, all with mixed reviews from both genuine buyers and questionable paid-for/incetivised accounts. I ended up taking a stab in the dark on this after seeing the same product on the Lloyds Pharmacy website, although at a higher price. Even though it didn't have reviews on the Lloyds website at the time of purchase, I put my faith in them having tested the product themselves before stocking it. At the time of purchase this was reduced to £27.88 and there was no other recognised brands available anywhere online for delivery, to purchase at a reasonable price. I've used this Thermometer dozens of times since purchase and it's been consistently accurate. My reason for assurance of it's accuracy is that we've had; paramedics and doctors visit the person I care for, together with hospital/GP appointments to attend on numerous occasions since. Each time they have checked his temperature on their devices, it has been no more 0.1 different to the readings on this but most of the time the exact same.

The device is small, portable, and very easy to handle and gives very quick readings and that is great. The problem I have is with inconsistent correct values that is producing comparing with two other measuring devices that produce identical correct values. Sometimes it is giving accurate readings but sometimes there is a point three to one degree difference which is a lot and also, produces different values in subsequent readings and that makes me not trusting the device which should be the whole point of it.
