I love this little grill. It may be small but she is mighty. It a great addition to my appartment patio. Its easy to use and versatile. It can cook approximately 3 chicken breast at once. It is super heavy but was easy to assemble. The heat output is great but it takes a bit to get used to and play with to get it right. I love that it doesnt use that much charcoal or wood. I also love that the flame source is contained and really cant go anywhere else so I dont have to reall y worry about the bottom of the grill catching fire or anything around the grill as the ceramic bowl insert is pretty amazing.

Perfect for single people or couples. Do not skip the break-in process. Only use hardwood natural charcoal as recommended by manufacturer, use natural fire starters. I love this little thing, it is so efficient I have been using same charcoal for two days, but you must close the vents when you are done cooking. Do not overload with charcoal, keep it small. It took longer to unpackage it than it did to assemble. Tools are included with this. I love it!

I don't need one of the giant Kamado style grills. The most I ever need to cook for is four people and this compact grill easily satisfies my needs. Using lump charcoal and little fire starters achieves a high temperature to allow a great sear on beef and chicken. Temperature control using the lower vent slide is pretty easy. The built-in temp gage allows accurate temp monitoring. The ceramic is thick and sturdy and holds heat so well. Charcoal burns efficiently and cooking does not require the use of a lot of charcoal. Assembly was straight forward and didn't take very long at all. It is heavy. I was able to lift it without assistance but it is probably advisable to get help to place it on an elevated surface. Overall I'm very happy with is purchase.

I own two Big Green Eggs (XL & Large) but wanted something I could fire up for a couple chicken breasts, steak etc... that was more efficient on the lump charcoal. Thought I would take a chance on this little unit since it's a fraction of the cost of the Mini Egg. So far I'm not the least bit dissapointed, it does the job just like a BGE. I use this for direct cooking since the unit is so small, wouldnt't recommened for indirect but for what I mentioned above it's well worth the purchase. Highly recommend.

The grill seems well made but the grate is a sloppy fit almost 1 inch under sized. It seems cheap compared to the the rest of the grill. For the money I expected more.

It’s a bit of a learning curve if you are used to a steel kettle but once I figured it out it worked great! I bought it mainly to smoke with and I was not disappointed! Just make sure you use chunk charcoal, not briquettes, and start your fire in the fire box, not a chimney. It was simple to assemble but heavy enough I had to have my guy carry it outside for me! It’s a nice size for cooking for a couple people, and it’s very well-built. I smoked a pork keg on it and it came out with a nice bark and a lot of smoke. Very pleased!!

I love this little charcoal oven. It looks like a toy, but it’s surprisingly powerful. Even though it has some weight, it’s easy to move wherever you need it. The quality feels very solid and well made. I used it for the first time to cook a small pork roast, and it came out spectacular. It was my first time using a charcoal oven, so there’s definitely a learning curve, but overall it’s a great addition to my kitchen equipment when I want meat with a nice smoky flavor

Funciona de maravilla para una pareja o maximo 4 personas, ya que la parrilla es pequeña y no le cabe mucho. Le caben 3 hamburguesas de buen tamaño, o 2 Rib Eyes, o 1 Picaña, o 1 Pollo entero. Si vas a hacer una comida/cena para mas de 4 personas esta no es tu opción.

I have a large Big Green Egg and love cooking on it. It is great for larger cooks when the famly or frriends are around. I couldnt justify over 900 dollars for a mini green egg so ordered this. I am shocked at the quality. Easy to start and control temperature. Ideal for 2 -3 people. Very impressed and highly recommend. Very well built. Comes well packaged. Easy to assemble

This item is great value for what I paid was easy to assemble great quality sturdy the size is bit small have to squeeze together to get two steaks on there it really needs a place to be placed as it is very heavy a great replica of the larger version

Easy to assemble entry level charcoal smoker. Grilling top is not the biggest but what can you expect for a 13inch? Bought this as a smaller unit with the plans of utilizing it camping or as a portable unit once I go to a fullsize unit. Happy with the purchase, it weighs almost 49 pounds so it is hefty. Stainless handles, ceramic is pretty thick and the gaskets look good. Manual was good that came with it! Coated inside with cooking oil then started it to "season the grill". First cook was bacon wrapped chicken breasts and they turned out pretty good and very flavorful!! Would recommend this unit but will see how long the "chrome plated" cooktop lasts (worst case scenario I may get some stainless cut for it). Happy cooking!!!
