✓ My puppy is scared of baths and it is almost impossible to get him into a bath tub. This licki mat is my life saver! Now, I can't imagine bath time for my 6 month old Goldendoodle puppy without this! ✓ This product is of a good quality. Dishwasher safe. ✓ I smear some dog safe peanut butter and yogurt on this mat and then freeze it. I take it out of the freezer right before my puppy's bathtime and lure him into the bathtub using this. He becomes fascinated by the treats in this mat and is totally focussed on licking it that he forgets that I am bathing him. Gives me a good 20 minute window to bath and clean him! ✓This product does not have suction cups to keep it in place. That does not bother me since I like to hold it in my hand and move it around so that my puppy moves accordingly. This makes it easier for me to wash him. But I think it will be a problem to those who are looking forward to use this as a crate training tool. ✓ My puppy loves to chew and shred things in general but he has not succeeded in shredding this mat apart. So far he has only been focused on licking rather than chewing this mat. I make it a point to remove this mat once he is finished so that he does not get a chance to ruin it. ✓ Also, I use this mat solely to help my puppy through bathtime which is once of his most stressful situations; thus increasing the effectiveness of this tool in reducing his anxiety. In case this mat is available to him all the time, he will eventually get bored of it, therefore reducing it's effectiveness during stressful situations. This is one important point to keep in mind in case you are using this licki mat as a tool to reduce anxiety!

My male dachshund cannot control his licker. We don’t know if it’s an anxiety thing, boredom thing, but it’s gross! He will like the bedsheets and leave a HUGE wet spot. Or the legs of pants, or the carpet (especially in public, he’s my service dog) or our other dachshund’s ears! I saw these lick mats on someone’s YouTube video and so I thought I’d check it out. It’s super flexible silicone, so it could be frozen with stuff on it (like yogurt) or for us peanut butter. It’s large enough that both dogs can lick it at the same time. It doesn’t suction to anything and disappointingly it slide easily on hard surfaces. Putting it on carpet, or in our case the foot of the bed where he likes to lick, keeps it from sliding around more, but it still moves. One thing I love is that while my female dachshund will go on her merry little way once a majority of the PB is gone, my crazy obnoxious dachshund comes back and there is still plenty left for him to satisfy his licker impulses. I definitely plan on buying more with different textures to give him a variety. Definitely recommend!

Great product. Great value. Our dog loves it. The squares are too small for her to get the kibble out, but she adores the licking parts.

I bought this mat to feed my dog who is scared to eat from a dog bowl because of the noise his collar tags make when hitting the bowl. This thing is a lifesaver! My dog ate his dinner tonight without any hesitation, so happy!! The mat stays in place when he licks it, and it's really easy to clean. I just rinsed the mat off in the sink, or you can toss in the dishwasher on the top rack. I bought 3 more to use with our other dog and to have a couple of spares. Thank you for such a great product!

It’s plastic and apparently many cats are allergic. So I’d say it’s not that pet-friendly. It did help slow feeding but it’s not one I’d choose, considering the overwhelming options. The stability isn’t great, there’s no suction.

I bought 15 of these. My cat gets her licky pad three times a day and I was always stressed I’d run out of clean ones. I ordered a stupid amount because they were only $5 and they are really sturdy. They’ll last forever. 10/10 highly recommend (for cats) large dogs will destroy these and it might become a chocking hazard for the big chewers.

This product was recommended by my dog's trainer to help him settle in the car on trips. Usually he would bark the entire car ride. I covered this with wet dog food and froze it. On our trip I put the mat on the arm of the cup holder so he could like it during the ride. Not a peep out of him. The trainer said that licking the mat calms him. Well it worked after licking for about 20 mins he fell asleep. First time ever in the car. When we got home I just tossed it into the dish washer. Super easy to clean.

I like this lick mat quite a bit. It is very sturdy and i don't worry about my dog chewing it to pieces like the silicone ones. There is rubber on the bottom but it still slides around and makes funny noises on the hardwood floor, but I don't think my dog minds it. I consider it extra exercise, haha. It is fairly easy to clean but does require scrubbing sometimes since you cannot bend it to get bits of food out of the nubs like the silicone mats. Overall, it is very nice and my dog enjoys it a lot!

I bought this for my food-gorging cat. I smush the wet food into it and let her spend the morning licking it out. I'm not sure how good it is for her to lick silicone, but it's definitely a way to control her consumption rate. It's easy to wash and pliable.
