Dog Safety Muzzle Biting Barking Chewing Control Adjustable Nylon Small to 2XL (MEDIUM)

A little bit thin. My small dog broke it very easily

I bought the large size thinking it would be more than adequate, unfortunately it is way too small to fit my 7 month old rottie, would have ripped it off in no time as it was not sturdy or that well made.

Soft muzzle which I put on my dog in the car, to stop her barking all the way to the park every day. I had hoped after a few days she would learn not to bark, but the ex it always gets too much for her. The muzzle is very easy to put on and get off, with an adjustable strap. Muzzle fits perfectly over her Jack Russell snout. A good buy, well worth the money. Looks and feels sturdy.

I bought a large to fit my cocker spaniel which was the right size. It was to prevent her nipping new kittens in the house. Although it worked at restraining her while in a tizzy, once she was calm and sensible she was able to quite easily slip it off her face with some concentration so not 100% stable.

There is no better muzzle *for the price* than this. For most dogs it will do the job perfectly without any of the possible disadvantages of other designs i.e. the dog can still drink and even accept treats while wearing this design muzzle, and it doesn't look intimidating to people who see it. It is ideal for dogs that might bite in particular situations such as when being examined by a vet or being groomed. However, it is NOT suitable for any dog that is generally aggressive or which won't tolerate a muzzle. My current dog is a rescue that is aggressive towards any dog it doesn't know and won't tolerate a muzzle but it isn't a particularly powerful dog yet it tore one of these muzzles on two occasions within moments simply by rubbing it on the ground and clawing at it. Once this type of material is ripped it will tear easily so if one failed with a ferocious dog making an attack the results could be terrible.

Bought this as an additional preventative measure to stop my long nosed dog reaching gnawing the bandage off of his injured foot - and it has worked. Being a large hound, he can still reach the bandage even with the "cone of shame" on, but with the soft muzzle he cannot chew at it. Our dog offered hardly any resistance to putting it on as he can open his mouth slightly. It is fairly cheaply made, but for £3.99 what do you honestly expect. It works well, is adjustable and to be honest, I only need this for 2 weeks max just allow the stitches to heal without him getting to them. All in all very pleased with the product.
