Took about 15 minutes to replace the switch. Perfect replacement and solved the difficulty with pulling the power handle. Mower works great and I expect it will run for several more years.

Perfect switch at a fair price. Hard to find for my 36-yr old B&D mower. This Asian part is better than the original.

I bought this for my Black & Decker corded electric lawn mower (LawnHog model MM875). I originally though the issue was the orange lever (handle) as when I pulled it, I had to place it just right to get the lawn mower to turn on. When mowing the lawn if the lever slightly moved the lawn mower would stop. While holding it down, I would have to reposition the lever just right to get it started again. This would happen 10 - 20 times very time I mowed my yard. I finally decided to take the handle apart. The lever on the inside looked fine. The switch also looked fine but after testing it (with the handle apart and the switch still in place, I pushed the switch button) I determine it was the switch. I purchased this switch and ......YEA.....now my lawn mower is back to normal. It wasn't hard to take the handle apart (about 5 screws) and it wasn't hard to replace the switch. No tools were needed to remove/replace the switch.

This item as an exact fit and works as sit should.

Like other reviewers mentioned, I had to hold the on/off lever in just the right position (kind of twisted downward) to get my mower to start, and to keep it running. I bought this switch, installed it and my mower started right up and runs with the lever in its' proper position. The only tool I needed was a Phillips screwdriver to take the lever housing apart, but I think my mower is rather old. Switching the four wires, one by one, over to the new switch was a lot easier than getting that housing back together lol. BTW, the old switch has "01N" at the end of the part number and the other side is marked "INDAK PATENTED", as is the case with this new one.
