We had ours installed by contractors who installed it but didn't finish it properly. They never added the set screws at the base of the hood covering and they just used silicone to attach the top part to the wall. At this point, we only have half of the cover on and would love any support that we can get to attach it to the wall.The vent hood is not great for our larger stove, in retrospect, we should have gotten one that came out farther. We're happy enough with it but would only install this in a smaller kitchen for an in-law suite or a smaller rental.The lights are super white and a chilly color but not a huge deal (I prefer warmer colored lights) and can easily be replaced.We LOVE washing the filter in the dishwasher and it's our #1 selling point on this hood.This review is 2 years after we purchased it and we're hoping to get in touch with the seller so that we can get support with hanging the rest of the cover back up.

Just installed today so I can't comment on longevity.It was very easy to mount. It looks good and the fan/suction seems powerful. I looked at the hood vents at HD and Lowe's and the price difference told me this was worth a try.My only complaint is everything in the instruction manual is listed in millimeters, I know it's more efficient and accurate, but a lot of tape measures in the US only have imperial units. The instructions aren't very good or descriptive overall, having to convert everything just made it a worse experience.

It has a very clean, stainless steel look that instantly modernized the kitchen.The installation was straightforward, and it’s very easy to operate. I'd never installed a range hood before this. I have a small rental I'm fixing up between tenants and decided to try the swap myself rather than pay a contractor. Watched two YouTube videos on chimney-style hood installs, then went for it. The Tieasy hardware all fit together logically — the mounting bracket attaches to the wall, the hood lifts onto it, the chimney sections cover the duct. The only tricky part was getting the bracket level, and a basic level solved that. Total install: about two and a half hours including cleanup. Tenants moved in two weeks later and have no complaints.

installed this unit to vent to exterior....barely has any suction power. steaming pot directly under vent and it wont even suck that little bit up. very disappointed. would probably work better wo the fan

Love how great this product looks and works pretty well. Totally missing the screws for part of the metal cover but stays up with out them. Easy to scratch. Took me hours to remove the annoying blue plastic cover. Still worth it and great price!

Great looking unit we used for our rental property.So much cheaper than a comparable unit from Home Depot.Works well, but we’ll see how over time how reliable it is.

I never thought I would buy an appliance on line but I did !! It has been installed for 2 years now and still looks great, works great and happy I chose this item. It was a replacement for one I had choosen first. Theone from the "big box store" was not the size listed on the box and the color was off. So I hoped for the best and ordered from Amazon. I am so happy I did. I love the clean design and the color matched my other appliances.

Bought it many times for my rentals properties , working very good, negligible noise, very good air flow enough CFM for any type of cooking, enough light and easy to clean

Like other reviews say, air will literally go around it. The fan is spinning but nothing is happening in terms of suction.Stay away.
