Q: Hello, the top portion of the holder (ring) came off. How do I put it back on?

Thank you for your question! Please see the video for an explanation of how to attach the top ring back on to the cup holder. Hope this helps!

Q: can you identify which measurements you are referring to ie...which is Ht, which is width,etc?

The height is just over 6" tall and the width is about 3.5" but the top ring can expand to hold larger mugs and cups. There are two settings for the height, the taller setting is about 5.5" from the bottom ring to the top ring and the lower setting is about 3.5" from the bottom ring to the upper ring.

Q: will this hold a coffee mug that has a handle?

Great question! Yes it does. The handle just needs to be turned outward through the small opening in the top ring. The 4th picture in the Amazon listing shows a coffee mug in the cup holder.
