Wonderful !
Absolutely love my Cuckoo Clock. Good quality, looks good, works great. Gives my living room a nice touch and I love to hear the cuckoo sound every hour.

Initially did not work, however was able to get replaced!
The media could not be loaded. Update: I’m updating my review from 1 star to 5 stars as I was able to work with the company and they graciously sent a replacement clock. This one works great - bird comes out and cuckoos every hour as it should. I feel I should mention that the “weights” are made of plastic and I wasn’t expecting that at the time I ordered, but they still look nice. Also, there isn’t isn’t a way to decrease the volume (but the sensor does turn it off the sound at night when it’s dark). We are overall very pleased with the replacement and the customer service was great!Original: The initial clock we received the bird would get caught going in and out of the doors and it would not move as it should. Exchanged it for a second clock and again, the bird does not go in and out of the doors as it should (see video). Very disappointed - it’s a beautiful clock, just does not function properly.

Very cute!
My boyfriend wanted a cuckoo clock in the worst way and this fit the bill. Obviously not an authentic Swiss clock but it’s very cute and works well

Almost perfect
This is a beautiful clock, and a nice alternative to more expensive versions. The only reason I took a star away is because the bird gets stuck in the leaned-forward position regularly, so that it can no longer lean with each "cuckoo." You can fix it with a gentle tap, but then it just gets stuck again on the next "cuckoo." Otherwise it's great.

Awesome coockoo clock!
Very impressed with this clock. Quality excellent. This clock had cute details that many at this low price point did not. Such as a deer and watermill. Gives that old crafted German feel. I like the options if being able to turn on and off the cuckoo's and music and the strike of the hour. Many reviews complained that their cuckoo clock did not cuckoo the correct amount of cuckoo's, but you must read the instructions on the Kintrot booklet provided, follow them, and then all will be well. Highly recommend!! My 8 year old son loves and collects clocks. My father got me a real German cuckoo clock when I turned 8. This brings back nostalgia of my childhood and memories of my father.

Low price, low quality
The clock is affordable and somewhat fun but, maybe unsurprisingly, of poor quality. The bird looks like it has been cut in half by a chainsaw and was then poorly put together again with a hole in the middle. It also gets stuck a lot when returning to its home, stopping in the middle of the process. Resetting the clock and other measures haven’t helped, and getting in touch with the Chinese company making it appears to be impossible. It’s also not on time, it goes of like two minutes early every hour, but that’s a rather minor issue compared to the rest.

Close, but not what we were looking for
We're returning this for one reason: the cuckoo note is so awful. Why these clock manufacturers are using the same terrible bird recording is beyond me. I watched the customer videos and knew it had some weird echo, but in person the whole thing is just so loud and shrill. In a small living room it's too overpowering. The clock itself is charming, but if they did the following, we would have kept it:1. Find a better audio recording. It sounds like they recorded the audio next to a babbling brook, but that water sound just comes through like white noise and it's loud and startling.2. Pick an audio recording where the bird does just one 'cockoo". There's an intentional echo in the audio. It's fine at 1 to 3pm but when you hit 11 and 12 you're hearing this thing 24 times.3. For the love of clocks, add a volume control! The above would be livable if you could dial down the volume to anything other than ear blaster 3000. Not a fan of how loud the default sound is.Other than the noise stuff above, there rest is good. It looks nice up on the wall, was easy to set up. It's too bad they made the choices they did with the actual most important part of a cuckoo clock. I know that my complaint is subjective and maybe you'll like the sound. Just be aware of the volume.
