Owala FreeSip Tritan Water Bottle 25 oz Shy Marshmallow

I bought this bottle in stainless steel and I love it! My review for that bottle is below. I wanted to get another one for a new house in a different location. I came across this one that was made exactly the same, except that it was plastic rather than stainless steel. It was on sale for half the price of the steel one, so I decided to go with it. It is just as nice as the stainless as far as construction. Granted it won't be as durable, but I know that this thing will last many years. Perfect! This is perfect as a water bottle. It is heavy duty and tough. The paint on it hasn't chipped or come off in any way as tall and I have had it for a while. This is only for cold liquids, not hot, but I bought it strictly for water. I carry it on our morning hikes and take it with me for yoga, cardio, etc. It keeps the water cold a long time if you keep it shut. That is absolutely my favorite thing about this and the reason I chose this bottle. The straw is built in and you can shut a cover over it. Your straw isn't hanging out ready to catch any viruses or germs that are in the air or on whatever surface might come in contact with it. I can grab this and pop it open, get a drink, and re-close it with one hand. Once you snap that top on, not a single drop of water will come out of this thing. You can shake it around, carry it upside-down... whatever, it will not leak. If you see any water droplets in the photos, it is because I just washed it. It comes in 16, 24, 32 and 40 ounce sizes. I chose the 24. It is the perfect size for me... enough to get through a whole workout or hike, but not some huge, heavy thing I have to lug around. It even has a little flip up handle on top that you can carry it by. I fill it up in the afternoon before I workout and again before bedtime to leave on the nightstand overnight. In the morning, I add water if needed and take it on my hike. Then I wash it with the breakfast dishes and it is ready to go again. It comes in lots of color choices from subtle to bright, so you can make it fit you. I went with classic black on black. If anything ever happens to this one, it would have to be that I lost it because I think that is pretty indestructible, but if anything happens to it, I will buy another one exactly like it! Love it!

This water bottle is really convenient for everyday use. The FreeSip design is a nice feature because it gives you the option to sip through the built-in straw or tilt the bottle to drink normally. I didn't realized I was picky about my water bottle until my old fave broke and I had to get a new one. I bought and returned many. I thought this Owala was too pricey for a water bottle, but the reviews made it sound like the best thing since sliced bread. And since I trust my fellow man's honest reviews on Amazon, I took the the leap and bought it. In my mind, this is a bougie water bottle. I did not think I needed a bougie water bottle. I love my bougie water bottle. You need this bougie water bottle. It is a water bottle for all people. It is actually leak proof. It is easy to tote. It is easy to clean. This was a main requirement for me. Toss that baby in the dishwasher. And the best part for me is the unique drinking options. I was pretty skeptical that it wouldn't spill all over me, but it doesn't. You can tip it an chug it, or you can leave it upright and sip through the straw. I can't explain it, but that easy sip straw option just makes me so happy. Additionally, I seem to be drinking more water. I can't prove it, but I think the straw is maybe wider than the average water bottle straw, because I can easily sip half my bottle in one go. I have seen it cheaper elsewhere. I do think it is pricey. But, I would still buy this again if I lost this one.

This is a great water bottle for cold drinks. The quality is top notch. The body is a sturdy plastic with a high quality plastic lid and hard plastic straw. The price made it a must buy for me. I just purchased the grey one, as well. We’ve had it for a month and used it everyday since. Even with daily use and daily hand washing it appears like new. It doesn’t leak, doesn’t dent when dropped like the metal containers, and the lid maintains a strong seal. I love the Owala lid design. You flip up the handle which locks it from accidental leaks, push the button to pop the lid open and then you have the option of free flow drinking or sipping from the straw. The only downside is that it is hand wash only as it could melt in the dishwasher. My son’s 1st grade teacher required clear water bottles in her classroom so students couldn’t sneak in and spill sugary drinks. I needed something with a straw to avoid accidents, clear and sturdy enough to stand up to a six year boy. This is the perfect fit.

I don't write reviews, but I had to for this one. Let me tell you, I've had many water bottles until I found this perfect bottle, and it truly is perfect. I am very particular- I use it just for water, and I need the straw so that I can sip while driving, watching my class, under mask, etc. And, as a busy mom, I can't wash my water bottle everyday. Also, I cannot use the stainless steel bottle as I sometimes put my homeopathic remedies in my water. I used to have Pogo soft straw bottle. While it was great, washing the top was a bit tricky and eventually it started to grow mildew. (They also don't make this size.) I also had Camelback flip straw bottle. I wanted to love it, but it was uncomfortable you had to chew the mouth piece and the drinking tip started to get dirty. Now, this Owala FreeSip is perfect in every way! First of all, it's so pretty (marshmallow) and sleek. The mouth piece feels great and effortless. The lid design not only gives you option to chug but you can fill the water bottle without taking the lid off. (No more water drips!) Because the cap is made of plastic, not silicone, it's easier to clean. After the first sip, I totally fell in love with this bottle so hard that I purchased another one in different color as a backup in case they discontinue it. (Please don't!) On the packaging, it says, "I know. Where have I been all your life?" -SO true! I love carrying this bottle everywhere and I even use it at home. Thank you Owala, for turning my water drinking into a delightful experience!

No damage upon arrival. The color is nice; it’s a bit dark, but you can still see into the bottle. I think it’s a good Owala for guys as it has a “manlier” appearance. Perfect size to carry around and fits in car holder. It does not have “insulation” to keep your drink cold, but that wasn’t my top priority when purchasing. I am happy with my purchase.

This bottle is great, cheap, looks great and love all the styles and options. It holds a good amount of water only having to refill 2 maybe rarely 3 times a day, it is lightweight and easy to carry around and the top strap helps to carry it in your hand. The only downside is that it leaks a little bit every now and then if you don’t fully lock it, but it keeps your beverage fresh and keeps ice cold for long times making the taste great.

We love the Owala brand bottles. The lid allowing for sips and chugs are great for versatility. There is no wear taste, and the size is perfect for fitting in the sides of a bookbag to take to class. No issues with leaking. It does sweat the same as any other plastic bottle, and it doesn't really have a temperature control, but it is great if you need a clear water bottle!

He tenido muchas botellas de agua rellenables y esta es sin duda mi favorita, me encanta. Es muy ligera, bonita, y el tacto y tamaño de la boquilla para beber es perfecto. Un plus el asa para transportarla. En cuanto pueda me compraré más.

Was looking for a water bottle with a straw that doesn’t leak, is easily washable, fits in cup holders, and doesn’t have a soft mouth piece (contigo Ashland grew mould that was impossible to clean off!!). This ticks all the boxes. Bonus points because it has a handle and it doesn’t make a strange noise when you drink from it! And it looks nice!
