Salzmann Spoke Reflectors for Bicycles | High Visibility | Made with 3M Scotchlite | 72 Pieces Silver

I got these for my pre-teen who likes to ride home in the dark usually wearing all black. I got him a few bike lights but he doesn’t always remember them or remember to charge them. So a friend helped me find these. I haven’t got to see them on a moving bike on the side of the road yet but on our back patio with a flash they are very impressive! I think I am going to love these especially since they will move while the wheels are turning to help draw attention.

These are great once you install them all, but they're a pain to install. I squeezed them on to my standard-diameter spokes with my hands but used pliers to get them fully secure around the spoke. There were enough in the package to install on every spoke on my 700mm bike wheels. At night or at dusk, they reflect a bright glow when lit by a car headlight. Worth the trouble to install if you bike at dawn, dusk or night.

I see others have said these do not fit their spokes tightly enough, slip around, rattle, etc. But I've had none of those problems on my recumbent trike. They are a perfect and tight snap on fit, easy to install, and look sharp both night and day. I sit low on the trike, and when I have to cross intersections it's important car drivers know I'm there. I can tell by drivers' actions that I am now SEEN from the side, and I've noticed folks staring at me and even commenting on the reflective wheels. I feel much safer now with summertime night riding. And 3M Scotchlite is the best of the reflective materials. I also have a long-sleeved shirt with sewn-in 3M striping to aid in being safe, and of course LED head and tail lights. In the picture I added, I'm only shining a small LED flashlight on the trike. In a car headlight beam they would be even brighter.

My wife and I have recently purchased recumbent trikes, and justifiably are concerned with visibility, especially at night. Our trikes are manufactured in the UK by Ice Trikes, and they don't install wheel reflectors like most bikes made in the US. After looking around, I decided to go with these 3M spoke reflectors. Our wheels have 18 spokes each and needed three packages of these 72 count reflectors. Installation was very quick and easy. I'm including photos to show the installation on a 20-inch and 26-inch wheel. The pictures were taken during the day and show the reflective quality of the product with the camera flash. Included is a single, not flash enhanced picture of the 26-inch wheel for comparison. The genuine 3M reflective tape being used gave me confidence in the quality and reflective luminosity of the product. At night, with light shining on them, the wheels LIGHT UP very well. I would give these a 5-star rating, except for the fact that several out of the 216 reflectors had the 3M reflective tape peeling up at the end. I assume this to be a byproduct of the manufacturing process when the plastic tubes are cut to length. Time will tell if this affects the longevity of the product. If you, or someone you know, rides at night and would like to improve your visibility from side angles, I highly recommend this product. The sheer volume of reflective items on each wheel improves overall visibility a great deal.

Perfect, super bright! Ordered them to help hold to the spokes a strand of LED lights but found that I really enjoyed them as well. Super easy to snap on, perfect length, DO NOT SLIDE DOWN ON THEIR OWN! Ordered a 72 count box and used every one on my Mongoose Switchback 29” large frame Ordering a second set to do some designs in my spokes. Very light weight add zero weight to bike. Reflecting was even visible in the day light. Great value for your money I bought them for a purpose but found out they are fun also plus add a huge layer of safety and visibility. Prolly gonna end up getting them for the grandkids as I know they’re gonna love mine!!

I applied mine in a firework pattern to my wheelchair spokes and they made me visible in the Alaska winter! Love these! If they start to get dirty, just wipe and they are good as new! Great for when you need to fidget with something! Easy to click on and off, can be reused season after season! Perfect number to cover all spokes on a 22 in (measured inner rim) wheel!

I'm convinced these things have saved my life at least a handful of times. They cost almost nothing, they install super easily, they are RIDICULOUSLY bright, and they increase your visibility at night by like 500% all without batteries. They even look cool. I've had mine on for years now and I've never lost or broken a single one. They still work and look perfect. I buy a pack of these for every friend i know who gets a bike and insist they install them.

Easy to istall

Fantastic, highly reflective pencils 👍 Does what it says on the tin. Along with my LED lights, I feel safer riding in the dark with these reflectors on my spokes. Easy to fit, they don't fall off. For now, I feel that using only half the pack is sufficient for my needs. 3M have always produced Hugh quality products ✨

Assolve bene il suo lavoro: di giorno non dà nell'occhio, essendo grigio, ma con poca luce ambientale riflette molto bene e mette in evidenza la presenza della bici, d'altra parte è un prodotto 3M. Sono contento di averlo acquistato e lo ritengo importante per la sicurezza personale.

Pour la sécurité, très visible de nuit, pas besoin d'en mettre à chaque rayon, un sur quatre et suffisant. Je conseille vivement à tous les cyclistes.

Lo uso en las bicis que utilizo porque a veces circulo de noche o en invierno cuando anochece muy pronto. La reflectabilidad es muy buena y cuando ruedas y recibes luz externa parece que llevas una llanta lenticular. Se montan y desmontan fácilmente. Con el tiempo, se van ensuciando inevitablemente, tardan mucho, eso sí. Aunque las he lavado en agua y jabón no se quedan igual que al principio. No se caen de los radios, aunque algunas no llegan a apretar bien y se pueden mover con las vibraciones, supongo que depende del diámetro del radio, claro a mayor diámetro mayor sujeción. Por supuesto, solo valen para ruedas con radios cilíndricos, de sección redonda. Los recomiendo.

Kinder, wie die Zeit vergeht. Ich habe Speichenreflektoren schon an meinem Rad als die gerade erstmals auf den hiesigen Markt kamen und nicht zugelassen waren. Neulich habe ich erst gelernt, dass sie mittlerweile – zum Glück – endlich eine Straßenzulassung haben. Ich finde diese Speichenreflektoren großartig und würde nie wieder darauf verzichten wollen. Man sieht ja selber an anderen Rädern, wie gut man dadurch sichtbar ist. Mit 72 Stück kann man jede Speiche am Rad ausstatten, vorne und hinten. Mit den kleineren Packungen nur jede zweite Speiche (was aber auch ausreicht.) Sie lassen sich sehr leicht anklippsen. Zur Haltbarkeit … muss man sehen. Hier in Berlin werden sie leider häufig auch geklaut … Aber packt euch die Dinger an die Räder, große Sicherheit für wirklich kleines Geld!
