Mehron Makeup Spirit Gum, .125 oz Special FX Adhesive

Tried and true this stuff is the best. I've tried several brands and non have held up better than mehron. It lasts for hours without having to be re-aplied. I wore prosthetic ears to work for halloween then went trick or treating with my kids that same day. In total i had my ears in place for upwards of 14hrs with no issues. Though it does cause a mild allergic reaction to me however taking an allergy medicine prior to using takes care of that problem so if you have sensitive skin that could be an issue.

Works great but only lasted a few hours

worked great for my wig! go in w a LIGHT application like get rid of the excess from the brush before u apply or else 1) it'll leave an orange color 2) it won't secure properly,, blowdry and repeat (before laying down the lace). I did like 4 layers. my wig was in high pigtails so I had someone help me w the back,, if u take ur time w it u can get a real nice secure hold. it held up for a solid 10 hrs (I haven't tested longer wear) I used rubbing alcohol to remove the glue. take ur time so u don't hurt ur skin :)

Absolutely the best spirit gum ever! It held perfectly all day. I also couldn't get the bottle open onceni used it. I had no idea I had dripped anything on the outside of the bottle. It took a lot of work and a lot of spirit gum remover, but I eventually got it opened again.

At first the product seemed like it would work due to how strong the prosthetic felt glued in place. But after an hour with minimal movement, no sweating and no humidity, it did not hold the prosthetic in place.

Used it to secure my elf ears for a photoshoot, it worked very well and held them until I was done with them. And you don’t need very much!
