iProven Infrared Touchless Forehead Thermometer for Adults and Infants

Love that it's very easy to use. Family member is extremely ill and has temperature checked multiple times per day. Family member won't use oral thermometer. This is the perfect solution. This thermometer also stores previous temperatures so you can track changes (nice backup to my written chart). This thermometer does both F and C and can be used on objects as well as people. Very pleased. Had a small hiccup with the first one but customer service was beyond amazing (thank you Rochell!). Definitely feel that it's a great value and was a good decision to purchase this item. Customer service is FANTASTIC!

I bought this thermometer because it uses regular batteries and not the button batteries like the oral thermometers use. It works really well and it’s quick, accurate, and the screen brightness makes it easy to read. It’s a great and doesn’t cost much more that the oral ones we used before. I scanned my hand with it and the temperature accuracy was impressive, so it doesn’t have to just be the head.

This infrared thermometer is absolutely perfect in almost every way. It’s incredibly easy to use, quick, and very reliable—right up until the batteries start to run down. ​The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is because of how it handles low battery power. Instead of warning you that the battery is low, it just starts giving inaccurate temperature readings while the battery indicator still looks fine. As long as you keep fresh batteries in it, it works flawlessly! Everything else about it is exactly what we needed, just be mindful to swap the batteries if the readings start acting a bit strange.

As a school nurse working with 2-5 year-olds (for 33 years), I've tried numerous ear and forehead thermometers. This is the first one that's worked consistently and/or that our young kids have tolerated; not fans of ear thermometers. (Covid's been a blast.) I had our classroom staff "beta-test" it, as they're often responsible for obtaining temps in my absence. They all love it. We've had it for a couple months; still going strong/no surprises. The instructions are in a font that doesn't deserve a "type size" value (10,11, 12, etc); too tiny for most human eyes. The thermometer is easy to use correctly, despite the fact that the instructions sometimes contradict each other/aren't accurate/poorly written. Although sometimes they are entertaining: "1) Pull the battery downward, toward the bottom of the Non Contact Infrared Body Thermometer, and remove the battery access door; 2) Insert two pieces AAA size batteries".... (Luckily I installed batteries without first referring to instructions!) I'm in the process of typing/revising relevant sections of the instructions for staff reference. In a font meant for humans. Otherwise, very happy with this product.

This is really easy to use. I love that there's different color coded for different temps and what they mean. I would say the battery life is great cuz I believe I still have it and it still works I haven't had to replace the batteries or none of that. If I were to recommend a thermometer especially for babies and children especially if they have sensory issues I would suggest this one cuz you don't even have to touch them you just put it close to their forehead but don't touch them and you can take the temp that way and it's very accurate.

I LOVE this thing! It seems less sensitive to cold temperatures in my bedroom than other infrared thermometers, so when I check my temp twice a day, I don't have to warm it up first. Many others I've used, have errored "lo" before warming it up because I keep my bedroom at 63. My temperature results don't change minute to minute, like with some devices. Which makes you feel like it's reading accurately. I can't stand when I use the same thermometer twice in ten seconds and it gives dramatically different reads. This doesn't do that at all. Now, because it doesn't go "in" anywhere, (mouth, armpit, butt, etc.), it is slightly susceptible to being effected by room temperature, but like I said, this one is so much less sensitive to room temperature than any others I've used. (If you have a cold room, I recommend keeping it off the floor. I keep mine on a shelf.) Of course that goes for warm areas too, you don't want to leave it in the sun or something. But really, all thermometers should start at a neutral temperature, so this one isn't any different. This is definitely the most accurate thermometer for the infrared type that it is. Mouth ones are probably still the most accurate in my opinion, but this one is just really really good. I would recommend it to anyone. I think this one has deals sometimes too, so bookmark it if you need to. Very solid buy though. Will definitily be considering this manufacture in the future.

Highly recommend! Very accurate and easy to use and you don’t have to wake the kids up! I also love the different colors for the different temp it will be red if it’s high

This works well (efficient, responsive, easy to use), though it does require the user to follow the instructions to get a good reading. I found myself taking the temperature of everyone and everything (what's the surface temp of my table? My coffee? My desk? the window? My dog? The window, again? Maybe my dog is cooler now?). A good time was had by all. Unfortunately, I cannot be sure if it is accurate because to figure that out I would have had to buy a second one, and--given how I used the first one--I just don't have that much free time.
