Dark Green for a Peridot--more Emerald Looking

Bought the necklace and earrings set. These are dark green, not the lighter yellow green of a peridot or as shown online. Look more like emeralds. There is no identification of "month" on the label, so I don't know if the wrong ones were sent. They are lovely, and I like them. So, I am keeping the set. Just won't wear with my real peridot ring as the color difference is quite obvious.
