Pacific Coast Double Down Around Pillow - Standard

Had the same national brand name down pillows for 10+ years. Loved them but they reached the end of their life. Wasted about $150 on two other pillow sets before trying the Pacific Coast pillows. It's like having my old pillows back! Never cheap out and try to replace quality with junk. One of the other pillows I tried had feathers poking out from the pillow. Not only was it uncomfortable but I ended up with feathers all over the bedding and I keep finding them all along the path from the bedroom to the laundry and ultimately out to the trash cans. These pillows are the perfect "fluffy" for a side/stomach sleeper and there feathers are both soft and can be shaped to fit my sleep position. And I like that they are a standard size. No huge queen or king size pillows. How big do they think my head is?

Best pillow for me. I am a side sleeper. I encountered this pillow at a hotel and immediately dismissed it because it was obviously too high. I cannot understand why people would want to sleep with their head at a 45 degree angle as most hotel pillows would cause you to do. However, I was surprised when I pushed down on this pillow and saw it easily squished down flatter. So I tried it and it was so comfortable when on my back and perfect when I switched to my side. Granted, pillows seem to be subject to very individual taste; but this is a great pillow for me. You should also buy the suggest dust and mite pillow protector. Duck feathers and down are the cat’s pajamas in a pillow!

The box contained the two pillows, both inside clear plastic zipper covers. When removing the pillows from their zipper covers, I noted at first that the cotton cases appeared to be lightly soiled and there were deep wrinkles in them that would not smooth out. But the real shock came when seeing black hairs that were pressed onto the white cotton cases, on both pillows. These pillows obviously had been slept on by someone and then returned. In re-reading several reviews of this product, I found a number of them that openly stated that the pillows were being returned.This product was not sold directly by Amazon, rather it was sold by another seller and fulfilled by Amazon.I contacted Amazon immediately, and with an instant call-back from Amazon customer service (NOTE, Amazon has the very best customer service in the business, I have purchased many things from Amazon over the years) with my explanation of what I received, I was immediately sent via email a prepaid return label for sending these pillows back. Amazon will not replace them, they will when the pillows are received at their return facility, refund me my entire expenditure.A very bad experience has been corrected quickly by Amazon. However, I will be very careful not to purchase any future product sold by this particular seller.

This is a nice hotel pillow, but I was not impressed with it. It was somewhat comfortable and somewhat supportive. I guess it would be find for a couple of nights in a hotel, or for a guest bedroom if your guests are only staying for a night or two. I would not want it to be my everyday pillow. It's decent, just not good enough.

I have had one of these pillows for over 10 years and had really worn it out. I have neck problems that bring bad headaches if not positioned perfect. I looked all over my town for another one and couldn't find it so in trying to find a comparable pillow I only ended up with a mid sized fortune spent on useless pillows. I was so happy the day I decided to look for it on Amazon and found it exactly. I know the ship time seems long but it actually came in only a week. This pillow is so great!! THE BEST PILLOW I have ever owned and never want to be without it again... Thank you Pacific Coast and Amazon :))) (Oh, and forget that guy on TV that sells pillows. those things suck)

Seems made fine. I probably will not use it I used it one night. I am back to my full down pillow. As expected, it is rather hard, a bit heavy, having feathers rather than all down. I can not shape this pillow, (get the center down and edges up), like down to accommodate the neck just so, in a straight line. I thought I would give it a chance as full down pillows have gone up in price a lot. Years ago JC Penny sold full down pillows cheap. I have used up my stash of those bargain all down pillows.. I think this pillow might make an excellent sofa pillow if it was covered with some custom fabric or pre-fab cover. A lot of folks will find this pillow OK, but I am a doctor of chiropractic and want the support such that the neck and head are all lined up. All pillows that have too much fill towards the center cock the head up. A few hours of that is likely mess with your neck, especilly if you have age or old car accidents in your past. I sell water pillows only in my practice. It is ok too, but down just does the trick ever since I started going a chiropractor in my early 20's, I am 61 now.

I had read other reviews both here and elsewhere that have stated that this is the best pillow ever. I am now convinced that the statement was very true! The pillow is comfortable and cradles my neck very well. I have some neck issues and so I have to say comfort is very important. I wake feeling refreshed. The pillow needs to be fluffed every day and they do include instructions for throwing it in the dryer to poof it back out. I did not do that since the pillow was not really compressed that much during shipping. I also have allergies and I have no trouble with this. Spend the money and go for it, I think you will say it is the best pillow ever!

I'm living in Afghanistan for a year on a deployment. Sleep is one of the most crucial things to an Infantryman. I'm going to be sending these home, when we leave, but at the same time, I have had the BEST night sleep thanks to these pillows. They keep their shape very, very well. I like how they stay cool throughout the night as well.I bought these pillows knowing that the choice that I have over here are thin pillows that don't allow you to get comfy regardless of how you try to lay on it. In the end, these pillows help me not lose my mind from lack of sleep.
