Lightweight and easy
I bought this for a recent motorcycle camping trip in the Everglades due to it's small packed size and it worked great. The chair takes around 30 seconds to set up and break down. The metal poles have bungies attaching them like tent poles and rapidly snap into place. Once set up it can wiggle around a little but has absolutely no problem holding my 210 lbs while sitting on dirt/grass and sipping a beer or gazing at the stars. . The chair is about 80% as comfortable as a full-sized folding sling chair, but 1/4 of the packed size. Having a chair is a game changer while motorcycle camping and makes the event much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this camping chair if packed size is of any importance to you. The only down sides I could come up with is that it is not as sturdy as a full sized sling chair. If you were going to be using this every day at your home it might not last as long. This is a trade-off for being lightweight and having all the folding joints. Also you sit lower to the ground so getting up and down is more work than a higher perch. Overall I recommend this camp chair.

Quick and easy to set up and put away, perfect for those waiting for taxi's outside.
Easy and fast to assemble and disassemble. Held my weight really well. Is high enough off the ground that I can get up with ease. Very comfortable. It does what it should do, give a person a comfy seat while outside. I use taxi's to go to my doctor appointments. Most of my doctors don't have windows facing the parking lots so I tend to just sit outside on the ground. Sitting on the ground tends to cause my back to hurt, which is upsetting if it's just after a Chiro appointment. Today I used the chair after a Chiro appointment, my back never started hurting while I was waiting for my taxi home. It was comfortable, easy to put together, easy to take down, and it fits in my small backpack. I'm glad I got this.

Nice balance of features
I'm 275lbs, it holds me, no sweat. it is super light for carrying around (think fireworks events, motorcycle, etc.), no lugging uncomfortable, 8 lbs. lawn chairs over your solder for hundreds of yards. So it's light, strong, capable. All good things. My dislikes. I'm 55 y.o. and it's low to the ground, so your knees know it when you are getting up. Has only a side pocket no arm rests. You sink down in like a recliner, so not something for extended sitting. The feet are small rubber caps, rather than wide plates or plate attachments, so in soft ground it's going to sink in. As my title says, it is a nice blend of the most important features in a portable chair, but does miss on a few that are desirable secondary features. I keep this one in my motorcycle side bag, for it's extreme portability, yet a reliable seat.

New configuration better than expected
I have had several versions of these camp chairs and am an evangelist for this type of chair. They are simple to deploy, extremely lightweight, pack super small and are super comfortable IMO. This particular model with the box type base set up is new to me. I am really happy with them. Quality is great, comfort too. Would highly recommend The other thing I would recommend is purchasing one or two other models to try. These things are like clothes, every manufacturer cuts them a little differently and that can have a big impact on comfort. For first timers I recommend a test of several models to find the best for your bod.

This Chair ROCKS!
This is my second chair from Moonlance, and it's definetly worth the 2 lbs to carry this chair on your next backpacking trip. As someone who has spent many days/night on trail I can tell you that having a comfy place to sit at the end of the day is worth it's weight in gold. Easy to carry and set up, very comfy as a tall guy, 6'3". My only negative on this new version is that it is a bit combersome to fold back up and tie it down. It's not a deal breaker, and I'm sure after some practice I'll get it down, but it's not very intuative, lots of little robs to untangle. Otherwise a great addition to anyones backpacking kit.

Amazing camping chair.
Let me start off by saying: I am 6'2. Somewhat thin to medium build. At first I was hesitant due to my height. With the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I decided to give it a shot and I have to say, I'm amazed. The practical application of a weekend is like any camping chair, but better. It disassembles and fits in its own zip bag that comes with the product. It made it easier to pack into a car that was already at the brim with camping gear/equipment/food. Properly assembled: this not only holds my weight, it was comfortable to sit in for hours at a time around the camp fire. I recommend this!

Cost effective and good enough
This chair is a "gets the job done" type of chair. I recently started backpacking with some friends and wanted a camp chair to take with me but didnt want to pay $100 for an REI chair like my buddies. This thing gets the job done. Its not as sturdy as the REI chair, doesnt pack down quite as small, and is a bit heavier, but like I said it gets the job done. I was sitting in some deep mud and didnt even lose a rubber foot. Its sturdy enough to forget about being wobbly unless youre really fixated on it and hooks up outside my backpack just fine.
