The clip is too small for a standard size tape measure. Pointless.

I loved everything about the product except, the product did not fit standard leather size til belts. After buying it and being disappointed about it not fitting my standard rig, I went back and found in the literature that it can only handle up to a 1.5 inch belt. Quality was great, just disappointed 😞.

Thought it would fit my 1.75” belt but it only fits 1.5” or smaller. Otherwise, I would have loved using it.

The leather is good and looks to be high quality product, but the clip is a bit too narrow. One of my tape measures did not fit and I bought it for my Dewalt drill, which one fit when I grinded 1/4 inch off the clip width. The top belt loop could also be wider and that might prevent swing or sway and hold it more in the same spot each time you reach for it. To me, it was rather expensive, but won't be working. Found another here with a wide clip that works great.

I dont review many things i buy unless they are horrible or amazing, and fortunately, this simple little holster turned out to be amazing. I work in sales and dress somewhat more presentable than your typical construction worker (no jeans, button down shirts tucked in, etc) but i also have to use my taper measure quite often in my line of sales. This little piece of leather is defeinitely well made because I am very hard on my gear and it has held up for the last 6 months without a single stitch torn and the leather, with a little care, looks good as the day i received it. My tape slides on easily and stays put, even getting in and out of my car. It also comes off easily and depending on the size of tape measure Im using that day, i can rarely even tell im wearing it. I also keep a pen in the tiny pocket thougjh it is a bit too small for anything other than a cheap clicking bic ballpoint pen or no2 pencil. a carpenters pencil or sharpie are both too big to fit into the slot on mine. If you use a any tool with a belt clip often but dont need to carry many other items requiring belt support, I highly recommend this item. My only wish is that they had more colors (black, different tones of brown, possibly a grey).

I love everything about this product , well made quality and Even the vintage color, however as a cabinet maker I use a lot of pencils and the only downside is it does not lock around a belt loop like the cabinet maker sidekick one does and when I bend down or squat down I always seem to be breaking pencil leds because so it's sliding around on me, if you could tweak your design I'd buy these all day long. very quality product otherwise!

Well made product, but the metal loop for a tape measure clip is too small to fit any of my tape measures.

Good leather, great thingy

I'm a sprinklerfitter and I wear this thing every day, it's excellent. Yes, it holds a tape measure, but it also easily holds a drill or impact while I climb ladders and awkwardly wedge myself into ceilings. Having my impact easily reachable is super convenient when I'm juggling fittings. Also, I was impressed with the thickness and durability of the leather. Its surprisingly stiff, so hopefully it lasts a long time. My only criticism is that stowing a screwdriver leaves the handle sitting quite high - it limits your ability to bend forward. (Also, the screwdriver loop is quite narrow and really only holds actual screwdrivers). But its good enough to keep a hand free while you're walking from place to place I suppose. Overall, I love it and wouldn't want to work without it on my hip.
