First of by no means am I saying this is the best mouse ever made as there a regular gaming mice that have much better specs beyond what is available for vertical mice. The headline and this review is as of 4/30/23. Updated 4/2/2024 (year plus of use) Intro to myself: I have been gaming since 2000 with FPS games like counter strike. I wasn't in the competitive scene but very good for pub gaming and occasional joined scrims with friends who were in competitive gaming at that time. Around 2015 I started having pain in my elbow from all the activity I was doing at that time not just from gaming. Unfortunately once the tendonitis started, gaming exacerbated the problem. So like most folks I looked for ergonomic mice and found an Anker vertical mouse for a replacement. Keep in mind I had a top tier gaming mouse from Logitech at that time so it was a hard switch. I wasn't playing aggressively with games at that time. After a couple months though I was able to game decently and still enjoy games. The Anker mouse was not a gaming mouse but it was doing the job. Around 2020 I bought the Logitech mx vertical, it definitely was a nicer mouse and was enjoying it. It was still just an ergonomic mouse. Then I started getting back into FPS gaming with Apex Legends. I was doing pretty good even though these mice weren't designed for gaming and so I wanted to see if getting a better one would help and I started shopping for "vertical gaming mice" There were a few on the market and I tried pretty much all of them at least the notable ones. Throughout my journey I was using Aimlab to track if mice were hurting or helping my overall scores in Aimlab. *Update anyone familiar with Aimlabs must know the game gridshot. I was in fact able to hit 100k with this mouse. In the end this mouse came out on top. Now by no means am I saying this mouse is without its faults. It definitely needs to be improved upon and needs to be more competitive with other top regular gaming mice. Just looking at all the vertical mice on the market, if you want the best sensor (10k dps and 1k polling rate), smooth sliding and accurate tracking with decent clicking that feels pretty good to hold then you found it. Properly calibrated tracking mechanism for x/y movements. The thumb buttons are def poorly placed and takes time to learn to use them in comparison to the mx vertical which I had no problem with. The scroll wheel feels good. (scroll wheel becomes a little hard to use when clicking and scrolling sometimes) Takeaways for future improvements for the mouse: quicker/responsive clicking for advanced fps gaming. Better button placement for the thumbs. Adaptability for the mouse feet for ptfe or superglide glass. Improved sensor for next gen tech like higher polling rates (2k to 8k). Higher DPS sensor up to 20k to 32k. Lighter mouse if possibly to get down to 60g. Even with these faults if you want a serious fps vertical gaming mouse this is it. I just find it funny that people are giving this mouse a bad review trying to transition from regular gaming mice to a vertical mouse and saying this is a bad mouse. Look through reviews who have been using vertical gaming mice already instead. In apex legends the game I have been playing. I have made more improvements and hit much more consistently now that I have been able to use this mouse and being able make use of higher dps and polling rates. Until another competitor comes out this keeps the benchmark of 5 stars.

I have been using this mouse for about a decent month as of writing this review. For a budget gaming mouse with ergonomics in mind, it does a very good job in performing. I actually bought this mouse to replace a Razer Deathadder that crapped out on me. In need of a new mouse, I wanted to look for something that had accessibility(customization via an app or driver) and performance. Ergonomics was something I had in mind subconsciously since I've been trying to look for something to ease any semblance of Carpal Tunnel in my arm. Having come across this mouse was exactly what I was looking for. I will admit, what I recieved was a little different from the image, the GX Trust logo on mine is different(see pic), and I was expecting sub-par quality. However, plugging it in was a different story: I installed the drivers, put in my custom settings, and went to town on some games. THIS IS A GAME CHANGER FOR ME, not only with helping with ergonomics, but overall well-tuned performance, not something I expected from what would be considered OEM hardware. The software and driver you download for the mouse allows customization such as RGB setting, DPI switch settings up to a decent 10000 DPI(where most ergo mice offer up to 4000-6000 max DPI), and even macros if you wanted to set any. Overall, decent bang for your buck, started in mind as a "buyer beware" but ended up being a recommendable product.

After doing a few hours of looking at various lists of ergonomic mice, this seemed to be the only one that actually had customization software instead of presets. after using it for a week or two, i'm totally converted to vertical mice. or, atleast this vertical mouse. i was using a razer basalisk ultamite which is a KILLER gaming mouse, but its still a flat mouse which means i get pains after a long gaming session. this mouse checked all but one of my reqirements: it has a decent sensor (goes up to 10k dpi), it had customization software (its janky, but it gets the job done.), it has a ribbed/textured scroll wheel (to avoid slipping in the midst of battle), it is comfortable after 10+ hour long gaming sessions (no wrist/arm pain, unlike traditional mice!), it had thumb buttons in an easily accessable spot (and they are large, so hard to press the wrong one), minimal RGB (that is adjustable via software), and it fit my hand. (i like to palm grip mice.) small bonus feature is the DPI adjust button is in a spot off to the side so its much harder to accidentally press mid game, which would throw you off. my only complaint is the entire body was made of a very smooth plastic which meant my hand constantly slipped off when gaming. easily solvable however, as a bit of liquid silicone painted on in a thin layer added the nessecary grip. it aint pretty, but it works very well. compared to nearly all the other vertical gaming mice i saw, which were plastic shells hiding shitty components with lots of flashy RGB, this is the only one that seemed to be designed as an actual ergonomic gaming mouse, rather than a cash grab or an ergonomic mouse first, gaming mouse second. i did try another vertical mouse that was very highly rated, (contour unimouse) but it, like most others, is aimed for ergonimics and general browsing rather than gaming. so while i wish this had a tilt scroll wheel, or a third thumb button, or better polished customization software, it still more than gets the job done. this is definitly replacing my very nice razer mouse as my main gaming mouse, as even though its a worse mouse its good enough and elimenates my wrist pain from long gaming sessions. *edit after a long time of using this mouse* this has become my main mouse that i use in all things! in terms of gaming, you do have to really dedicate yourself to using this to get back to the performance of a flat mouse just because your muscle memory will be tuned towards traditional mice and this is different, but holy shit i hardly ever use my old razer basilisk ultamite now. very rarely do i actually need the extra features of a higher end gaming mouse such as more thumb buttons or a tilt scroll wheel. i love this mouse and now swear by it after using it for (i think) a year or two now!

I've had this mouse for almost a year, and it's been once of the best ones I've ever had. A few weeks ago something in the scroll wheel broke, and now the wheel just free spins. This makes being anywhere online an absolute nightmare, since I have to press the wheel to scroll or manually click the bar. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to disassemble the mouse without breaking it to replace the wheel. After the wheel broke I was doing some research on how to fix it, and it seems like this is a common issue with this mouse. after about 6-8 months the same issue occurs. Expect this same issue to happen at some point within a year of purchasing this. The manufacturer warranty has a 1 year guarantee to replace items with product defects, with the seller being the one to honor it and replace/refund the item. I reached out to the seller multiple times, and after almost two weeks they finally got back to me to say they can't do anything. Since they're an Amazon seller, the seller does not honor the manufacturer warranty and follows Amazon's policy - which is only up to 90-days for returns. After that, you're out of luck and are stuck with an expensive, effectively useless hunk of plastic. For a review of the item itself: I use this mouse as a gaming mouse. This definitely takes some getting used to. Give yourself at least a month of regular use to get adjusted. My aim in my games was definitely impacted while I was adjusting. After you get used to it, it's wonderful! There's so much less tension in your wrist and arm. I can play for a lot longer and not feel any kind of cramping if I forget to stretch. There are only two programmable buttons, and they do not work. They're defaulted to page up and page down, but they do not work if you try and rebind anything to them in-game. If you rely on any mouse keybinds when you play games, look into another mouse. This mouse has internal RGB lights glowing from the scroll wheel, the logo on the inside grip where your thumb rests, and some other parts along the seams where there's clear plastic. The logo WILL glow straight into your eye if you're not careful with where you place the mouse when you let go, especially if it's dark. There is no way to turn off the RGB, at least that I've found. It does turn off when your computer is in sleep mode - just make sure you don't touch anything because even with a slight nudge the mouse with light back up and wake your computer. There's no wrist rest, and the mobile wrist rests for regular mice are incompatible with the shape and hand position of this mouse. My wrist was alright - I have a sanding desk and am able to adjust the height so my wrist isn't at too steep of an angle while playing. If your desk is too low, you may develop wrist pain in a different spot if you don't plan your ergonomic setup accordingly. TL;DR If you're interested in this mouse, purchase it off Amazon with someone who will honor the manufacturer's warranty if something breaks. It's kind of expensive for a pretty basic gaming mouse, but it's a decent starting point for making your setup more ergonomic and still fit the gaming vibe.

The body of the mouse seems to be exactly the same body used by other vertical mice. I mean, exactly the same (like speedlink piavo, for instance). That's not necessarily a bad thing. Just don't believe anyone trying to sell you a story that this is a unique ergonomic design that took years to research or something of that sort. The muse is well build, and the cable is of high quality. The mouse feels nice in my hands and I have a somewhat large palm.

I originally owned it when my friend bought me one for my birthday when i was not able to play games on pc with regular mouse anymore due to cor pal tunnel, had the mouse over a year before my dog chewed it up worked fine, then the 2nd one I bought myself from this same vendor the mouse wheel just stopped working in only 7 months of owning it... so ima buy one more mouse thru them next paycheck and see if it was just a bad mouse or if the mouse is made cheaply now a days. Changing my review due to tue seller not contacting me after multiple days and a few msgs about the priduct being defective. So i will not be biying the product through them anymore ill find another vendor/seller on amazon. I dont deal with vendors who will not speak to there customers. update as well the mouse wheel has broken on me twice on 2 different ones I have owned, all within 5 months, a mouse should not break within 5 to 6 months of owning it, never seen any break like this before, I am sure its prob a defect in the design of the mouse, I love this mouse since it helps with my corpal tunnel but it keeps breaking...

Guess I'll just get carpal tunnel. Really disappointed. I hate it. Not only it is defective to the point of unusable in less than a year and half, it's uncomfortable. The scroll stopped working completely months ago, and now it doubleclicks for no reason constantly. I am not rough with my hardware. The shape seems like a good idea, but made for a 6th grade female's hand size. I do not have large hands - probably below average male hands. While the shape seems okay, it doesn't fill my palm whatsoever meaning I still have to squeeze in an unhealthy way to get anything done efficiently. The thumb buttons are nowhere near far enough back, and to reach them efficiently you need to hold the mouse like an idiot. If they were somewhere better, I might say the size was okay. However, whoever chose the location of the thumb buttons is brainless and it screws up the whole system. When it was working... it was awkward at first but usable. Still it was way too small to feel correct and just causes tension as I was forced to squeeze it as it doesn't fille the palm at all.

After running into issues with pain in my hand, wrist, and fingers - caused by using the computer for hours on end in a given day (I work from home and am an avid gamer), I discovered the concept of vertical mice. I first tried the Logitech MX Vertical wireless mouse and after getting used to it, my pain went down and my hand finally started feeling normal again. However, I found the Logitech mouse to be lacking for gaming due to it DPI and refresh rate. Therefore, I started trying out other vertical mice geared towards gaming. After trying several vertical gaming mice from different manufacturers, I finally found the Trust Gaming GXT 144 Rexx Vertical Ergonomic Gaming Mouse. It felt great in my hand and didn't cause any discomfort, something the other vertical gaming mice I tried couldn't live up to. Therefore, I considered the search to be over (I almost gave up) and settled on this mouse as my long-term every day mouse capable of regular work and gaming. I like it so much that I purchased another one as a backup. Vertical mice take a little bit of time to get used to but are highly worth it. Your hand, wrist, and fingers will thank you in the long run. If you buy one of these mice and don't like it at first, don't give up. You will eventually adjust and gain the benefits and will never look back.

Overall, a great mouse. The only issues is the matte finish marks so easily with hand prints wearing it away pretty quickly to a glossy finish.

Background: PC gamer with desk based job with wrists that have deteriorated to the point where a regular mouse is very uncomfortable to use. I have used gaming mice from all the major providers over the years, as well as some of the common ergonomic recommendations such as the Posturite Penguin and various iterations of trackballs. I had been eyeing up the Anker vertical mouse but was put off by the limited DPI selections and then I saw this. I paid £19.99 and honestly it is hard to find a fault with the mouse, particularly at this price. The shape is comfortable and does not cause me any wrist discomfort, it is easy to maintain a neutral non-gripping hand position and use the mouse effectively. The RGB strobe that it comes with out of the box is a minor irritation, but the software download available for the mouse allows it to be disabled. More importantly, the software allows customisation of the DPI (and to set colour indications for the different settings) and roles of each of the buttons, which can then be saved to the mouse. This works across computers, useful if you, like me, have a personal PC that you can install software on and a work PC that you cannot. The main buttons seem to have decent quality switches and a comfortable actuation pressure. The scroll wheel is adequate, not of the quality that you'd get on a high end mouse, but that's not what you're paying for here. I don't know what sensor is in the mouse, but it is good enough for FPS games and the sensor position under the hand feels natural, unlike with the Penguin mouse. TL;DR - if you have wrist issues and you're used to quality, software-customisable, gaming mice for whatever purpose, give this a shot. It would still be a good purchase at £40 and I hope the other companies follow suit with their own versions.

Este mouse permite regular los dpi entre 200 y 5000 dpi en incrementos de 100 en 100 dpi y a partir de 5000 dpi hasta 10000 dpi en incrementos de 500 en 500 dpi. Los ajustes dpi por perfil se conmutan de forma cíclica con el botón dpi. Se pueden usar los 5 ajustes dpi o solo 1 o 2 o 3 o 4. Se puede personalizar de forma exacta el color del rgb no solo con paleta de colores sino con numeración rgb, por ejemplo (255,155,255) y guardar hasta 5 modos dpi en cinco perfiles diferentes. El software es para windows pero una vez hechos los ajustes quedan guardados en el mouse. Funciona correctamente tanto en Windows 10 como en Manjaro linux. El brillo del rgb es ajustable desde 100% hasta 5%.Al 100% resulta muy brillante yo uso un 15% o un 5% de brillo. El peso del mouse es bueno, ni pesado ni muy ligero y sin duda lo mejor es su buena ergonomía. Se puede levantar con una mano sin que resbale y el despalzamiento es suave asi como el tacto es agradable y ligeramente cálido.Este ratón no es excesivamente grande como otros verticales. Los botones están muy bien situados de forma que no se puede pulsar ninguno de ellos por error. El periodo de aclimatación en mi caso ha sido de menos de 24 horas y no hecho de menos mi antiguo mouse. La mano reposa cómoda sobre el ratón sin que la mano toque la alfrombilla y las 4 almohadillas deslizadoras que tiene en sus bajos a las 12 las 3 las 6 y las 9 según el reloj, hacen que resbale muy bien sobre la alfrombilla dando lugar a desplazamientos suaves y precisos. Permite un polling rate de 125,250,500 o 1000Hz. Yo lo estoy usando a 1100 dpi, escritorio y juegos, con 1000Hz de polling rate, 10 de sensitividad sobre 20 y con ajuste lineal (no adaptativo) y la verdad es que el mouse es muy preciso. El movimiento de la rueda del ratón es totalmente silencioso moviendola despacio y silencioso moviendola rápido. Los clicks son normales, ni silenciosos ni ruidosos pero con presión media diría yo y los botones laterales son fáciles de pulsar.Ningún botón resulta demasiado duro. Recomendado.
