Steel Pet Gate

This is exactly what I needed. It fits perfect and I can use it in multiple locations in my house. Very easy to put up, sturdy and stable. The hight is great for my Pug that likes to jump, climb, chew and scratch. Keeps him safely contained in different areas of the home. Especially when cleaning or puppy proofing areas. Also great for indoor dog litter box training. Thank you for this. Would definitely recommend.

We used this gate to keep our litter of puppies separated during weaning. It was easy to set up, the included special wrench to tighten the pressure screws was a great bonus! The size is perfect, when we used a shorter gate the puppies climbed over and mom/puppies chewed the doorframe right above it. It auto-locks closed (unless you shut it very gently) and does not have the feature some other gates have of staying open if opened 90 degrees. With a large litter of husky/shepherd mixes they were able to push the bottom half of the gate open 1 time before we wedged it against the threshold, otherwise I would have used the included screws to secure it. It’s also the only gate so far that has prevented dog mom from jumping over or pushing through, pretty sturdy. I ordered a second one for my house, and one of the people taking a puppy ordered one for their home as well. Highly recommended. I also like the unlock button/handle. Easy one handed operation and my mother with arthritis can open it much easier than other gates we have had in the past that needed more complicated hand movements (like a double button) this gate is just slide the button and lift the entire door a little bit.

Best gate, ever! Easy to assemble, perfect height. I have the 39” tall model. Latch works easily, swings open about 110 degrees both toward and away from you. Using it to separate an older, temperamental cat from a new rescue 8 month old male kitten. The bars are close enough together to keep him out of her space, while she gets her hissy fits out of the way. A younger kitten could squeeze through, but at 8 lbs when he was adopted, he was already too big to squeeze through. He could jump it if he really wanted to, but hasn’t even tried. She likes having her space, and he likes the freedom to be on the main floor, and the kitchen! It’s helping with the introductions, and looks nice. The walk through feature is priceless. I use a large rubber door stopper to keep it from closing when not in use. I tried a taller style, 72” from a different seller, but it was so tall and heavy, that if it ever came loose and fell, it could have really hurt someone. Got the brown for the living area and the white for the kitchen/basement entrance. Both look great. At under $50, it’s a great value. Would also be excellent for toddlers.

Nice quality pet gate. Solid metal, easy installation. Good value. 39" height will stop even big dogs I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because the door is rather hard to open. You have to lift up with some force. It closes automatically with no effort, a nice feature.

The gate works well and is exactly as described. It looked nice and closes like it said. But did not work for us because it is hard for me to take down out of the doorway and then put back.

Tall gate. Used for the safety of my granddaughter so she couldn’t just wander off. Very sturdy.

I love this product. This was easy to assemble and the locking mechanism is perfect. Sized just as I needed for my dog and he can't get through! It came with additional options to make the gate more secure but it wasn't necessary in our case because the tension works so great. Perfect FIT!

The marketing around this product claims the company is headquartered in America, with all their staff in America. They never claim the gate is made in America, so I won't call them liars. That said I think you could be forgiven for assuming the gate is also made in America given how much they talk about everything else being from America. Feels like the marketing was misleading on purpose. The gate opens both ways, which is nice. It closes automatically (unless I've just got it angled a bit) which can be good or bad, but I find a bit annoying. I don't forget to close my other pet gate, so it would just get in the way if I was trying to carry something through the gate. It's also a bit hard to open. Like it takes a bit more physical effort for me to get it open than my other gate. My dogs can't get through either, so I consider this a downside. That said it's a gate that keeps the dogs out. It does it's job. I would probably not recommend it for the reasons listed above, but I'm not going to return it because it's not that bad.

Barrière posée entre 2 murs, pour empêcher mon petit yorkshire biewer de 3 mois et demi, de passer du salon au couloir des chambres. N'ai pas suivi le mode d'emploi ( car plus, je lisais le bouquin et moins je comprenais ! ) , mais installée correctement, tout de même, assez rapidement. mais, je n'ai pas compris, pourquoi, il fallait laisser un espace de 6,4 cm, du sol à la barrière ? Par contre, j'ai posé au sol, entre les 2 murs, un balai télescopique, et sur les 2 extensions ( de chaque côté ), sur une hauteur de 40cm, j'ai posé une plinthe en PVC - attachée sur les barreaux avec 2 serres joints en plastique. Et en attendant, que mon chiot grandisse et devienne plus gros, j'ai mis une petite planche, L = 110 cm et H = 35 cm, (ce afin qu'il ne passe pas et ne risque pas de se coincer entre les barreaux ); planche, coincée d'un côté par le radiateur en fonte et l'autre côté, petite table de nuit. Cette barrière est très pratique, car elle s'ouvre de chaque côté. Un peu dur à ouvrir, cependant. Qualité, rapport, prix. Je recommande.

The gaps are too big, we were shocked when we saw our 4 month old toy poodle walking through the gate. At the same time the latch is so hard to open with one hand even for an adult. Kids 7 and 10 just can’t pass through this gate.

La mejor barrera de la historia. He probado muchas y está es sin duda la mejor. Resistente y fácil de instalar. Yo la tengo para los perros y es buenísima.
