Good Replacement Pitcher for Brita or Kirkland Pitchers at a Much Better Price Point
I purchased this product as a replacement for a Kirkland (Costco) pitcher that I'd had for several years which itself was a replacement for a Brita pitcher. My husband and I drink a lot of water and we appreciate that we can fill this pitcher from the tap and drink as much as we want without having to use plastic water bottles, thus having a positive environmental impact.Pros: This was easy to set up. The instructions seem to be similar to the other water pictures I've owned. It comes with one filter and putting the filter in was simple. The pitcher is easy to clean and the lid fits securely. The water pours well and there are no drips. I thought the water tasted good - no mineral aftertaste. I like the feature on the top of the lid that reminds you when to change the filter, and I like that this can use the old filters I have so I am not wasting them. The plastic is clear and easy to see through. I just recently got the pitcher so I can't attest to how long it will work well, but my initial impression is positive.Cons: There are just two minor things I found a little bothersome, but not enough to reduce the rating. First, my old pitchers had a spot to flip up to fill the water. This one you have to take off the entire lid. It's not a big deal - just a difference. On the flip side, it's one less piece to break, so maybe this isn't really a con at all. The second thing is that when I had to empty the first two pitchers full of water (normal - ensures any loose charcoal from the filter is out), I took the lid off to dump out the pitcher and the fill area started to slide out of the pitcher. In both of my old pitchers (each different brands - see above), this didn't happen because the reservoir seemed to be more firmly in place and it took a little pulling to get it out for cleaning purposes. I was caught off guard and had to catch the reservoir before it fell into the sink. I guess the pitcher isn't designed to pour without the lid on (which would obviously prevent the reservoir from falling out) which is why I don't think it deserves a reduction in stars - it's just something to be mindful of if you choose to use the pitcher without the lid.

Not perfect, but not bad
The top doesn't easily fit. You have to push down hard to go all the way in and then it's really hard to remove. So we just push it in partially, which is just really wonky. We use a Brita knock off filter which works just fine. The LCD thing on the top I think takes too long to get to 0, but you can decide to replace filter earlier if you want. Like at 25% or 50%

Good basic pitcher. Still looks new after a year's use.
Good basic pitcher. I prefer the clear look to the black plastic of the Britta pitcher simply because, after a year of use, you do not see any water stains against the clear plastic. Still looks good as new. Looses a point only for the fact that you have to remove the entire top to fill it up. If it had some kind of "flip-up" lid/door on top, it would have been an easy 5-stars for this one.

Good for vacation rental houses
Bought this for road trips. Our family takes one or two annual trips. Different places, different houses, and sometimes we just don’t care for the water in the house. I also don’t like to purchase plastic water bottles unnecessarily. So we bring this with us to our rental houses and keep it filled. It filters quickly and we use it to drink at the house and to fill reusable water bottles when out and about. I also like that I can have cold refrigerated water as I have a filtered water pitcher at home that I am used to, and I feel it improves the taste of water once filtered (my personal opinion). Very easy to pop the filter in, just a quick push and turn. Easy to pop out the reservoir and wash. The filters last awhile and still filter quickly. Decent size, I didn’t want to get too big as it’s for traveling, but because it filters quickly it still works for our family of five.

LOVE this pitcher !!!!!!
Wow this pitcher is awesome. I had originally purchased a match more expensive name brand pitcher, and was very disappointed..it leaked from the second day with using it and then sent it back for another one just like it and it leaked also. Then I found this one and decided to give it a try. It’s been great. Everyone at my home has loved the water from it, and it’s saved me money from having to buy bottled water. No more plastic bottles in landfills from us

Fabulous water pitcher best suited for a one person household
to be honest, if you're buying a brita you're buying the name. this product does exactly what you need it to do without fuss. I reckon they're probably made in the same factory.

OK but not great
This is a very basic water pitcher - which mostly does what it should. The included filter has been acceptable at improving water taste and filters slightly more quickly than the name brand.Pros:- Can pour before filtering is complete without mixing of water- Quick filtrationNegatives:- There is no flip up option for refilling - the lid has to be removed.- With a few weeks of use, the lid has gotten "stickier" and more difficult to remove. It now tries to remove the water filtration basket with it - which can be a pain as we refill the pitcher more than a few times a day.Would not buy again because of the lid issue. Otherwise, it's a fine pitcher.

Refreshing
You don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to enjoy a fresh tasting, cool glass of water. Works like a charm and takes refill cartridges you've used in the past, like Brita.
