Are all friendly bacteria suitable during pregnancy?

Most friendly bacteria are safe to take, with a few exceptions. We do not recommend S.boulardii or the strain B.coagulans Unique IS-2 during pregnancy. No evidence suggests they are harmful, yet there is no strong evidence to prove complete safety.
