Newentor Indoor Outdoor Wireless Remote Sensor, Temperature and Humidity Meters, for Q3/FJ3378, Q5/FJ3383B, Q6, Q10

I have been using 3 of these sensors with my Newentor weather station for several years now. They are excellent, accurate, and easy to use and set up.They are not waterproof, so you do need to shelter them. One of mine got very wet and quit working. I took the battery out, let it dry out and it worked fine again.

This works perfectly with Model FJ3378. Wayne Koch, what you failed to do in your video is to press the down pointing triangle on the main unit for 3-5 seconds to get it to rescan for a transmited signal from the new unit you purchased.I ran into the same issue but when I read the manual closely, it states you must press the down pointing triangle for 3 seconds to restart the receive transmission signal. I did this to add another sensor to my exisiting setup and set it for channel 3, pressed the down triangle for 3-5 seconds, then pressed the transmit button on the new unit and almost immediately the new units temp/humidity showed up.

Plus: includes humidity for outside sensors.Minus: setting the alarm is a bit more tedious, using multiple small buttons instead of one big one that cycles.The outside sensor units for any of these sort of things want to be protected from direct weather, while still exposed to air.???I ended up cutting the bottom off of a 1 gal milk container, and making a hook out of heavy wire to fit into the slot in back. Said hook's other end was then passed through the inside of the milk jug's handle.Jug was then easy to hang from a tree branch within easy reach.The ceiling display works fine, so long as room isn't too brightly lit.It can be inverted, depending on which direction you expect to be looking at it from.

This product works great and is very accurate. We find ourselves looking at the base weather station a lot for weather info. Unfortunately, I got the remote sensor wet (with the hose) and it stopped working altogether. This is the 2nd one this has happened to and I’m now having to order another new sensor. Guess I need to come up with a way to ensure the sensor stays dry while still being able to send accurate info to the base station.

Very easy to set up and position where I wanted them. I added 2 sensors to my weather station including one for my crawl space and the other for my garage. I’ve only had them a few weeks but they are very accurate and readable so far!

I have purchased several different brands of weather stations over the past couple of decades, but this Newentor is easily my favorite so far. It is stylish, easy to read, and also very easy to program. Over the past couple of years it has functioned faultlessly until recently, when it began registering faulty outside temperature and humidity readings. Being an old electronics guy, my first suspicion was a faulty sensor, however I felt it best to contact Newentor and let the younger experts confirm or dispute it.My request was handled by a lady who identified herself as “Susan” who first verified that I had mounted the sensor as per instructions. She then verified that I was past the one year warranty period, however she offered a discount on the purchase price of a new sensor. It arrived a few days later, remedied the problem I was having, and I look forward to many more years of service from the weather station.Ms. Susan provided very prompt and most courteous service, and I would not hesitate to recommend the purchase of Newentor products based on my satisfaction with this weather station and the excellent customer care provided.

I have these linked up to the main hub and I have three of them and they all seem to be working very good. Very functional as I can see the temperature outside or at the far side of my house. It seems to be very accurate and easy to use. Good value and great battery life

I bought these as a replacement for one that ws damaged. They seem to be very accurate and work very well. I would recomend the Newentor weather station to anyone looking for a good weather station. I am happy with mine. My one sensor was damaged when a tree fell on it in a storm.
