Used on a cast iron pan that I used to cook Indian ingredients to make an ayurvedic shampoo. The powders I used got stuck on the bottom. I actually put this pot away for a couple of years like that with the burnt on stuff on the bottom of pan. I decided to order this product hoping it would remove the burnt stuff, but it did not. This is my fault for storing the pan away without giving it a good scrubbing before putting it away. Now, I have this product stored in my pantry, and I will never use it again, as I don't have any other cast iron pans.

Does what it is suppose to do which is to clean and restore iron frying pans.

This stuff works great, but I wish I would get a more generous portion for the price. Even so, I am certain that I will reorder. My sister swears this product is nothing but coarse-ground salt, which is what I was previously using to scrub my cast iron pans, but I can tell a difference. If you love your cast iron enough to use the best cleaner money can buy, this is it.

This product is amazing.. so easy to use and the rust and.baked on spots came easily clean, this. Scrub works miracles!! Love it and only 1 tablespoon for each side of the pan!! I accidentally left my cast iron pan in the sink with water and woke up the next day to a very rusty bottom, and rusting in the pan itself!! This product works miracles with only minimal scrubbing.. I used a paper towel and then rinsed clean.. very happy

The product was just what I ordered and packed well but the jar was cracked and the contents were leaking out. I will still use it.

We have a large cast iron kettle that we set over the fire to make chili or vegetable soup in the fall so I bought this cleaner. Let me tell you...this stuff works! It's like watching ice melt under salt. Sprinkle this stuff in the kettle and watch it break down burnt food and rust. So easy to use! Cleaning the kettle is super quick and easy now!

I didn't know it when I purchased this, but you can also use Kosher Salt and Oil, with a wad of Tin Foil to scrub out the uneven bits from your cast iron skillet. I will use, but will not purchase again. It's cheaper to DIY.
