Sili Glue Roller with Silicone Applicator Tray for Woodworking

Why did I wait so long to get this? It distributes the glue evenly, and helps you to avoid having too much glue when you clamp two pieces together. A tool that is more useful than I expected, and works better than expected. Very easy to clean. I am excited to try some of the other sili tools next.

I kept avoiding this because it seemed like so much of a gimmick. I mean, I know how to glue wood. While making some cutting boards for some gifts, on a whim I threw this in with another order. What a surprise! It really does work, and cut my glue-up time in half and then some. It really speeds things up, and I’ve had much better results. And when I forget to clean it afterward (because we all have three projects going at the same time, right?), the glue peels right off. It’s a little more of a pain to peel it off because of the texture, so washing in warm water is ideal. It’s a little small, so it works for smaller glue-ups, but might not be great for big flat laminations. If you are hesitating, just throw it in with an order and I think you’ll be glad you did.

Great for quickly applying glue to larger areas like building cutting boards or a lot of glue ups for large panels. Clean up is easy, rinse the glue off or let it dry and it peals right off.

it was smaller than I thought (read the info on the dimensions). It works fine initially. I have been cleaning the glue off with water after each use and it appears the bearings are sticking. I was able to free it back up but I am concerned about long term viability.

My husband has been woodworking for years. The first time he tried this roller, he came inside, grinning, saying "this thing is like magic! If I'd had this years ago, I'd have probably saved 6 months total spreading glue." Spreads evenly and easily, cleans up easily. You should buy it.

Tray works great and fairly easy to clean! Roller works OK, but it is made from a very hard material, so it drags a lot instead of rolling. Also the roller is difficult to clean due to the ridges, unless you clean it right away... which no one does. You would think the ridges help it roll, but they do not... it slides more than it rolls.

Glue spreads nicely and cleans easily as advertised however the handle was too small for me to comfortably hold onto. I happened to have a phenolic jig handle with damaged threads laying around so I just drilled the hole bigger to insert this into and now it’s perfect.

I almost didn't buy it due to small size, but don't let it fool you. This works great spreading glue on larger surfaces. Clean up is an absolute thrill, let it dry and peel it off. No residue, no fuss, no mess.

J'adore le rouleau. Bien adapté à la pose de colle a bois (ni trop, ni pas assez). Ce nettoye facilement. Un petit bémol pour le récipient, plus difficile à nettoyer. Mais l'ensemble fonctionne bien avec la colle à bois.

Penso sia una delle cose più inutili che abbia mai acquistato , non serve a niente , non e utile in fase di incollaggio in quanto trascina la colla lasciando dei buchi sul legno e appiccicandosi tutta sul rullino , il quale se non pulito subito crea un bel mappazzone intorno al manico e rullino e impedisce il rotolamento del rullo , e quindi una volta secco tirarlo via e un'impresa ...... Non capisco le recensioni positive sarò io tordo.

Brilliant little spreader. Squirt your glue on the piece and spread around with this. Keep in mind this doesn’t work like a paint roller. Has sped up production times and keeps a much cleaner work area with much less glue waste than before.
