Bug light that works
These are a nicer change from the really yellow bug lights. They have a slight yellow tint. I would recommend. They do the job.

Bright and NO bugs!
This item was exactly as described. Still have some bugs, but no where NEAR as bad as it was. I live next to a farm and the bugs can drive you wild, but these lights don't attract them. As I said, you'll likely see some, but sooo much fewer than before. I'll be keeping these in stock!

Seems like fewer bugs
I don’t know enough about light spectrums and insects to have an expert opinion on this. What I do know is that there are still insects flying around the bulb. However, I’m pretty confident that it’s fewer insects that were flying around the original bulb. The last time I looked for a lightbulb that would attract fewer insects, the available light spectrums were definitely red and blue. Which looked weird for a porch light, as if I was signaling something nefarious, or celebrating a holiday—- and they just didn’t really provide that much light. This bulb does provide light. And any reduction in insects flying around my doors is a win in my book. The fact that it’s not a gross, sickly pale yellow color is a bonus.

Really works to provide light without attracting bugs.
The wavelength of yellow light emitted is completely invisible to flying bugs. I have not seen a single moth or other insect fly towards it since I put it in about 3 weeks ago.

Still lots of bugs. Wouldn't recommend
I got these because we like to have our porch light on at night but there's always so many bugs around the light, andvthen they get in the house. I thought these would be perfect. However, it turns out these light bulbs still attract bugs. I don't think there were quite as many bugs, but there were still a lot. Disappointing to say the least. Would not recommend if you're looking for a porch light that doesn't attract bugs.

Bright and Bug free!
This I’ll be my forever go to lights for the porch! I always hated leaving the porch lights on bc of the bugs but these lights are a game changer! With in 2 mins of changing our lights to the LED Bug Lights we saw the bugs go away! No more fighting with my husband on turning off the porch lights!PS. They are bright!

Does the job, longevity not great
While these did seem to reduce the amount of bugs on my porch while trying to relax at night, the longevity in these bulbs is very poor. Hadn’t even had them 6 months and 2 out of the 4 I bought started flickering and soon just stopped working. And one just flickers on and off and it’s not my electrical because I’ve tested other light bulbs and it doesn’t happen. If you’re looking for a quick for summer these will do the trick, but if you’re looking for a bulb that lasts (like most light bulbs these days) these aren’t the way to go. And no, I don’t keep more porch light on all the time so it’s not a hours issue either.

Just Installed; Have An Orange Tint (that is OK)
So far the lights are working well, but they have only been installed for 3 weeks. The purpose of my review at this point is to mention the color of the bulbs. Some of the reviews mentioned these bulbs have a different color than yellow when they are lit, which is true. In the first photo, my "old" bug light is mounted on the ceiling (yellow tint). The two wall-mounted lights are the new bulbs (lite orange tint). Living in South Carolina the daily temperatures are cold, so there are no flying bugs around the lights. I will see in the spring if the new bulbs are better at NOT attracting bugs or whether the new "orange-tinted" lights are better. These bulbs are brighter than my "old" yellow bug lites. One of the items mentioned for the characteristics of this bulb is that it is the LED that produces the tint and not the cover of the bulb. The ads say this is more effective in not attacking bugs. In the 2nd photo you can see the "white" top of the new bulb. We'll see if this characteristic is more effective than the bulbs with the yellow colored tops.
