Are these thin, cool and breathable enough for wearing in sneakers and walking 4 miles a day in spring and summer? Or are they hot?

My son tears his socks up constantly from walking outside barefoot in them. I heard these were great. We bought them and we have been please. They still tore but they lasted 3 times as long on a rough tough boy. I think if he was less rough they wouldn’t tear

Unknown as per mmHG. The reason I like them is they are very low compression yet have elasticity enough not to slide on a golf course. I take a blood thinner and they don't mark my ankles upon removal like nearly all other socks. Sorry I couldn't help.
