Mxmoonant 350ml/H Ultrasonic Mist Maker Fogger Metal Atomizer, Splash Guard

UPDATE | (Season/Year #2): Welp, the harsh and dry off-season of southern Nevada must have killed this specific mister. I was sure to disconnect power this year… Longstoryshort: I replaced the ceramic disc consumable in the non-operational mister.. but to no avail, NOTHING :( Purchasing another… The 2nd (originally purchased) mister is still going STRONG! 💪🏼 —— INITIAL REVIEW: 1+ Year Review! ——- Seems to be a solid product to me! (Although I haven’t really ran them “hardcore”..) For context; I purchased 2 misters, ran them for maybe 1-2 months (at 6-8 hour intervals—within a 24hour period).. they work great! Reason I’m leaving this review is because I neglected these misters for about 10 months.. no water,, out in the elements,, —supplying power to them daily(via my power-distro’s schedule)((WITH NO WATER!)),. For more context: I was having issues with my custom waterwall’s basin/reservoir —holding water,, …and I just never fixed the issue.. Long story short.. I’m a POS who left power going to these misters,, day-in-day-out,,, with no water,, 6~8 hours every day—for around 10 months.. — The ceramic replacement wafers were a GODSEND!! (Thank you moon people 🙌🏼) I eventually fabricated a new water basin,, filled it up,, powered the misters on (they were FILTHY! With dust and other “calcified” shizz) They didn’t work initially, , …then I remembered I had the replacement ceramic wafers! BOOM!! Misting like they were from day one!!! Stop looking/searching,, THESE ARE THE ONES! Don’t buy those cheap plastic misters.. These moon misters are truly PRO-GRADE. 👍🏻 Again,, thank you moon people—for providing a superbly designed product for consumers.. I AM SO TIRED OF US ALL JUST THROWING THINGS AWAY!!! So happy with you moon guys,, thank you. Really 🤙🏼 ❤️

I needed to create a small camp fire effect and this worked great. I added a light, and fan to blow the mist upward (it usually sinks and rolls down) but it was perfect for my application and Im sure I'll find other table top decorative uses. In my "fire" set up I used sticks, and my light, to block splash, but the little house thing it comes with does a good job if you are using that. Be aware that can be a little flimsy so one it is set, try not to handle it too much as it will come apart and need you to reassemble (not difficult, just annoying if you are all set then knock it apart).Also, even when blocking splash there is likely to be some amount that flips out the sides so either double check your splash, or just dont put is somewhere you cant get wet.

clearly produces ALOT of thick vapor and pretty fast…i see others on their videos not putting their misty makers close enough to the surface to do better…this Mxmoonant 350ml/H Ultrasonic vapors amount can be regulated by how deep you put it if you need to…go far enough and you’ll get nothing of course...but look at the monstrous amounts it can do where it’s at in the video..its super spectacular!!! just what this horse trough needed…i did try this in a fish aquarium with a pathos plant growing out the top and i loved it there as well…a giant terrarium wall is next and these are my choice easily

Zero stars if I could. Bought in Feb 2026. Tested it in pure RODI water. It worked. I boxed it back up and placed it on a shelf. Now not even 5 months later I pull it out to use and it’s completely dead. Dead from what? It sat in its own box untouched. I use only pure RODI water. What a waste of $20. I also tried changing the ceramic even though I know that’s not the issue because it’s not vibrating. And of course that did nothing. Knew I should have just bit the bullet and bought the uns one. Lesson learned

I received the device today and set it up in my 10-gallon tank. So far, my biggest issue is keeping the water contained. It creates quite a bit of splashing, and water ends up outside the tank. I tried using the included container, which helped reduce the splashing, but it didn’t eliminate it. Without the container, the splash is even stronger. I also wish there were a way to adjust or lower the mist intensity. That feature would make it much easier to use in smaller aquariums. Overall, it seems like a good product, but it could use a few improvements.

This is the second Atomizer I have purchase on Amazon. My first adomizer was purchased about a year ago. It worked well but required alot of attention to keep it working right. This new style far surpasses the value, quality and ease of use because they have corrected all of the problems I had with my first purchase with a price increase of only about $2.00. The first problem with the old style was choosing where to place it order to produce the maximum amount of mist. That might seem easy enough, but a fair amount of mist never returns back into the aquarium, once it becomes airborn it drifts away with the slightest breeze. So extra attention was needed to keep the water level just right to keep the atomizer at optimal depth to produce the most fog. By adding the float ring the adomizer remains at the right depth regardless of water level. In addition the new splash guard keeps most of the water disturbed by the atomizing possess off the aquarium glass elimateing most water spots from forming. Another improvement is the atomizer disk has increased in size by about a third. The combination of those improvements easily made up for the small price increase. Without a doubt, I will buy more of theses little units for all my future water projects.

Cierto que de varios que compré a éste vendedor, alguno le costó "arrancar" , pero fue suficiente aflojar y apretar de nuevo la tuerca presora del disco de cerámica. Sabemos que al estar sometida a vibración de alta frecuencia de audio la cerámica sufre y acaba fallando , aparte de posibles daños por la cal y otros componentes si el agua es algo dura. Comparados con otros que tengo en funcionamiento, con uso medio de 1-2 horas/dia, estos todavía no han llegado a ese tiempo de uso todavía, pero comparados con varios que compré anteriormente de otro vendedor en Amazon la diferencia es muy notable. Además como la parte que sufre desgaste es propiamente el disco cerámico, éste vendedor ha tenido el detalle de incluir 3 discos de repuesto. Otro detalle a destacar, los anteriores que compré a otro vendedor, funcionando en el mismo estanque de agua y con la misma alimentación común a todos de 24V CC, al poco tiempo la tuerca había perdido el cromado y el metal debajo se había corroido, mientras en éstos con el mismo tiempo presentan un cromado/niquelado duradero. Eso es importante, porque si se corroe, pasa de todo, falla el contacto eléctrico con el disco, produce daños en el borde del disco cerámico y hasta acaba entrando agua en el compartimento. Por el aspecto cuando son nuevos es imposible diferenciar unos de otros, pero con un poco de tiempo observas la calidad real de fabricación si es aceptable o no.

I do like this, I had a fogger before but had issues changing the ceramic disk, Tip for this one, undo the disk nut every now and again to keep it free. This fogger is great and comes with a floating housing for the fog machine, which always float a perfect distance regards the water level for the optimal fog effect in a fish tank. I would recommend to make an anchor for the housing if you have bubbles running as it will throw water out of the tank if its drifted to the edge of the tank, apart from that perfect!
