T TEKE Ultra Slow Hay Feeder hay nets, 1" Holes, Hay Bags for Horse, Goats

Needed these for an alpha draft X who was finishing all his hay and eating his herd mate's hay, too. Slowed him down considerably. Large size; I am able to fit about half a square bale in one. Only filled the net 1x a day and kept them nibbling all day. When it gets down to the last little bit, it's almost impossible for the horses to get out; this net does better when it is full and the hay is poking out a little bit. Love that this has a thicker top closing cord which is easy to find after filling. Opening is fairly wide with minimal fulling frustration (it is a hay net, after all!).

High quality and long lasting - strong!

I like the size of the holes & net seems sturdy. It is small though, which is good in my case. Holds just about three leaves/sections of hay.

I bought this hay net for my horses in hopes that they would waste less hay than my regular 2” hole slow feed nets. This net seems very durable, it can hold about 3 large flakes of hay. It definitely slows down their eating with minimal waste. I did notice that they never finish the hay and I think it is because once the net is no longer stretched full they have trouble getting the hay out.

I would give high marks on bag capacity, and on hole size - Just what I was hoping for. But the twine itself was So much thinner than what I've been using for years, I didn't think it would last at all. Mine are hung outside, overnight, some of them against metal woven fencing. Returned.

These nets are holding up so nicely. My horse likes to grab the net and shake the heck out of them to get hay to fall out so she can eat it off the ground. I love that each square is tied into place and they haven’t slipped one bit to create a larger hole. Will continue to use these and replace my other brand of nets with these when it comes time. This net slows her eating down much more than the other brand ultra slow feed net as well.

Better item for small animals, not so much for a horse.

The mesh on the 1 3/4" version stretches so I bought this one. This really slowed down my hay-bolting Mustang but unfortunately doesn't hold as much hay as I need, it also frustrated her to no end because it slowed her down so much. I would be fine with this size mesh stretching, but the length would never stretch enough to hold the amount of hay I need. It would be awesome if this company would manufacture one in the same size width as their 1 3/4" large and a length of around 45". When I separate my Mustang mare from her weanling here in the next couple of months, I think this one will be about perfect once the mesh stretches a bit. It is very difficult, if not impossible, to find a hay net that is not either way too long with too-large of a mesh, OR too short with the perfect size mesh.

The hay net is perfect for our ponies who eat like little vacuum cleaners! It slows them down and so far seems to hold up well. Holds about 3 large flakes of hay.

Very effective and seems to be lasting well.

I've had these haynets for a month or so now, they're still in one piece and seem to do a good job of stopping my greedy pony woofing all his hay in 10 minutes. These are very big haynets, can hold 2 or 3 flakes of hay. I could probably have saved a little by going for the smaller size.

Really happy with this hay net. Great for my mare who is on stall rest. The holes are small and she hasn’t managed to wreck it. Been using it about two months.
