I think this is the highest quality of Nascent Iodine available. I believe it was in the middle to late 1800’s Doctors were treating patients with Iodine for a variety of health issues and healing them. This is a great product for thyroid issues. My mom has been taking this brand of iodine for six years and will continue to do so. I have been using this for a few months now and feel I can adequately review it now. I had never used iodine before but wanted to try to see if it would help with dry skin and thinning hair. I have not noticed much difference in my skin as yet, but feel like my hair is finally falling less. I have noticed that it has caused me to break out (slightly) with what I would call deep blemishes, but I am happy about that since my skin is clearer. I do feel like it will help my dryness eventually. I have been fighting toenail fungus for several years and this seems to be helping that also. Not sure if it was supposed to, but I have seen a noticeable difference for the better. The best part is that I have lost 5 pounds since using this without changing a single thing I do. My only caution is that you have to be careful to gradually work up the amount you are taking because it does cause very loose bowels. That said, I am seeing the results I have mentioned with only two drops per day. I will most definitely order again.
