Many improvements have been made since the series first made its Game Boy debut. Football players are now easier to see against the nearly neon green playing field. Team colors are realistically represented in this update, too. Blitz features full NFL licensing, so all of your favorite big-time players are present. Quarterbacks can choose from a library of 18 plays, while the defense can select from nine standard sets. Players can take part in either the single-game arcade mode or the full season mode.
