The best
This has become my standard finishing oil, replacing years of using Al Olivier which used to come locally from near Nice but is now from a wider Provencal or European area. The latter is still excellent but this one is pricey but beats it.

Nicolas Alziari Olive Oil
This was our first purchase of the organic version and it's excellent. A friend brought us a can of the regular Nicolas Alziari from France years ago and it's been our go-to extra virgin olive oil since.

Great oil. Way overpriced.
Brought a bottle home from France...loved it so much we looked to buy the same or similar in the US. Different oil but same brand, and 4 times the price. The actual oil was 6 times the price. Not a good value and will grab a couple more when we go back to Nice. It might actually be cheaper 😉

Excellent EVOO for everyday
The Nicolas Alziari blended EVOO is usually rather expensive for what it is. However here on amazon the organic ‘Cuvée Pauline’ red label and ‘Cuvée Prestige’ blue label are often quite reasonably priced by the liter. Not to mention the can is very attractive! To be clear, however — this is ‘a blend of Greek and Spanish oil’ bottled in France; not oil from Provence. Just one quibble; and thus one star docked. I have ordered the ‘certified organic’ red label Alziari oil from amazon three times — and each time I’ve received the regular (and usually less expensive) blue label ‘Prestige’ version. Not the end of the world, mind you, but if you must have the organic product, you’ll be rolling the dice.

This is a wonderful olive oil. Twice I've ordered the organic and twice I got the non-organic version.

This is an excellent olive oil. I found it during my trip to Nice years ago and happy I found it on Amazon. Excellent tasting olive oil. Will buy it again
