Is the thermometer magnetic? Is it easy to calibrate?

Whats the resolution? does it just take 1.8 degree F steps or is it true 0.1 F resolution?

This item wasn’t working for me. Cheap plastic temperature device. Never registered a correct reading when I used it. Wasted my money.

No, mine didn't. It wasn't so much sharp as the metal part comes off. My thermometer didn't last six months. I'd recommend looking at another brand. I am doing that now.
