I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He does low carb and I didn't want him to not have all the good snacks everyone else can have. We received three blocks of cheese and three blocks of sausage-- great variety and taste, fresh. Decently sized and no weird textures. Maybe a little bit pricey for the money we spent? But if you want something that tastes good, I think you have to splurge, especially around the holiday season, when every penny counts. I would rather buy less for people, if I have to, and buy them something they actually like, tastes good, and is a quality product. It sure beats buying them something they'll never use...

I first noticed this wonderful product when I was a child and a friend of my parents who lived in Wisconsin sent a basket of this shelf stable cheese as a holiday present. However my order of this seems to have disappeared and I'm not sure what happened to it. However it really is wonderful. I've had it before as I said.

I have ordered this item from Wisconsin Cheeseman before and never had any problems. However, this time 😖!! This is supposed to be a gift basket item. It has always before looked like a gift item (meat and cheeses arranged neatly in the kringle cut kraft paper packaging, etc. as shown in the photos.) Not this time. They just dumped the sausages and cheeses in the shipping box with no padding at all. Thankfully they were all right and suffered no damage and put them in the refrigerator right away.I sat and stared at the box for a bit then tried to carefully remove all the labels so I could at least have a box to wrap. Didn't go too well. (I finally came up with solution to make it look like it should have in the first place.)All grumbling aside, this experience will make me hesitate to buy from them again. Which is a shame, because their summer sausages and cheeses really do taste great (why I gave it ⭐ ⭐⭐)
